Hi @Fruitcake , thank you for all your help. I had a family emergency and, unfortunately, missed the latest deadline to respond. I am cursing myself for not replying straight away, as I left it late this time. I am really sorry as I know you made a lot of effort to help. The case now went to the IAS.

I thought you were already doing an IAS appeal. No matter, just send a very detailed appeal based on all the info' you already have. List every single point with photos to back them up. Give each photo unique number and refer to that in the relevant appeal points.

Hi @Fruitcake, I did the appeal as you advised, and included all your comments in my correspondence with the IAS, providing the list of numbered photos/images and then detailed explanations. However, at every statge the VCS were challenging my evidence, and I was given around 5 days to respond to their rather generic comments. At the last round of this comment/response process I have missed the deadline to restate my points yet again, so the process went to the IAS for consideration. I am frustrated about missing the deadline as I was hoping that VCS would give up at some stage and the case was not going to be referred to the IAS.

In that case all you can do is await the IAS decision to see if you are one of the lucky 4% who win.

If not, ignore everything from then on until you get a court claim or six years have passed.

Almost certain to lose, so don't panic!  It is a farce and will be replaced by the Government for good reason.

Thank you @Coupon-mad . I am not sure how losing an appeal should not make me panic, but let's see what happens. I am annoyed that I was too preoccupied with family issues and could not continue refuting the VCS comments

Losing at IAS is almost certain. Appeal is futile.

NO-ONE HERE PAYS OR PANICS WHEN THEY INEVITABLY LOSE.

It isn't what you or I (or MPs) would call an independent appeals service. You realise that?

You seem to be taking this stage too seriously.  Most posters swerve it completely.

And losing the unpaid IAS appeal is only binding on the ppc NOT the motorist.
