Sorry to state the obvious but did you not notice when you were viewing?
Thrifty Till 50 Then Spend Till the End
You can please some of the people some of the time, all of the people some of the time, some of the people all of the time but you can never please all of the people all of the time1 -
I feel really sorry for the OP.We’re home quite a lot. We hear absolutely nothing from the older lady next door although she does phone occasionally to ask for our help. From the neighbour two doors away we occasionally hear diy etc - the sounds pass along the floorboards. From the other next door neighbours with a nine year old and a dog we very occasionally hear a raised voice or laughter, or a door being slammed, no more.If we go into our garden we hear birdsong, distant traffic, distant playground shrieking from a school, distant building work and the occasional sirens or ‘toys out the pram’ from the main road.

There's definitely no 'a' in 'definitely'.2 -
I suspect the OP would get more sympathy if they showed any sign of taking on board the advice previously provided under their other guises, rather than flouncing off and then reappearing months later with a new username and exactly the same query.SavingPennies_2 said:This post sounds very familiar... You aren't going to get any different advice from last time, and probably not much sympathy (although to be fair most people would probably feel the same in your position even if they brush it off as normal family noise on here).4 -

Communicate with them.
If it is long term and they are willing to change might have to move but then hpefully won't face the same issue elsewhere.0 -
Don't most people drive by at different hours etc. Knock neighbours doors to check out the area? Surely if it's this constant it would have been noticeable?london21 said:

I currently have very noisy neighbours (mainly the kids - also with the constant football banging against fence every single day/evening, rain or shine) and, as a result, don't spend any time in my garden either. But my cats sometimes crap in their garden, so there is that. They are the 4th lot of neighbours (all owners, not renters) that have lived there since I moved in in 2010 and the only ones that have been annoying, so I have to take the rough with the smooth I suppose.
I'll move house eventually to somewhere with a bit more separation from neighbours (not my only reason for wanting to move btw), but I'll just have to put up with it until I'm in a position to do so.

But why should you have to put uo with it?SensibleSarah said:I currently have very noisy neighbours (mainly the kids - also with the constant football banging against fence every single day/evening, rain or shine) and, as a result, don't spend any time in my garden either. These are awful, and only think about themselves, her voice goes through me, and he thinks he is something as well, just attitude all the time..0 -
The house next door to us has had major building work going on for 10 months, with no end in sight. A hot tub would be preferable. No reliance should be placed on the above! Absolutely none, do you hear?1
