HMRC Return 2023

I completed mine at 7am on Thursday 6th. Friday 7th it told me they had received and I had X amount available for repayment. I requested repayment and this morning (Saturday 8th) it says repayment pending. In my experience if you have completed this within the first few days of new tax year then repayment hits my bank within 2 weeks. Also I wasn’t asked to prove identity

I had to download gov app scanned passport and took my mug shot.very easy.and then pressed the refund ...

Yes had to download the gov app scanned photo scanned my mug shot.easy to do.then requested repayment

i had to do the goverment app aswell, checked this morning and saying bank repayment pending, so hopefully all goes well this year as last year  i had to do surf2 and never received payment until the end of june

I did my tax return online on the 7th. My repayment doesn't show on my balance yet. Even though it's been 4 days... Anyone else having issues? I clicked on request a repayment but it asks me to download an app and scans my face. This didnt work for some reason. It's saying it can't identify me. I have a big beard now, in my driver's license which is an old photo I don't..

Last year I had to phone up and manually request a repayment which they did no problems because of identification issues. Might have to do that again?

I had to download the app and passport i have a beard now but not on passport. And it all went  through and  claimed repayment

I submitted my tax return on line at 10 am on 6th april and it shows repayment pending. I don't know if this is for security checks or if it is just taking longer than usual to process. Does any one know how long security checks take.

Why do you think it's gone for security checks? It always says repayment pending initially.

Had to verify before it would let me request repayment, used driving licence
