Yes maybe we have to add bank details when we request payments etc first time ive had to identify myself too.  

I had to Identify myself last year too, but didn't hold any of the required documents (valid passport) so had to call up and get verified that way. I have a valid passport at the ready now, so hopefully tomorrow I don't have any problems 

Thanks i dont think it will be tomorrow as its a bank holiday it doesnt normally update till after the bank holidays

It’s not a public holiday tomorrow though - HMRC is closed Monday and Tuesday.

I know - but HMRC is open for business! I have never got my head around why, for one day every year, we have a bank holiday which is not a public holiday and, for one day every year, we have a public holiday which is not a bank holiday.

Posted my return yesterday morning and requested repayment , the race is on money money money money money

So for those with more experience than me...

I've just submitted my return and they owe me some money. This is the first time I've overpaid so what happens next?

I provided bank details as part of the tax return, so do I now just sit back and wait or do I have to do something to claim it?

How can you request a repayment already? Takes 72 hours for website to update

You will need to log back in tomorrow possibly and request repayment. Not sure if you will need to wait until after the bank holiday though

Same it says in bank 2-4 weeks hopefully 🤞🏽 sometimes get it around 20th April if Easter is between 6th and 20th
