Having a better day today, in some ways anyway. At least Mums card and photo arrived. Her friend phoned me to let me know it was there when she arrived yesterday. She read out the powm I'd written but I don't think she was really that aware of it. She thinks my brothers there and he's still in Spain and despite asking me to go to see her quick as I can she now thinks I've already been. Just a matter of time with her I know but how much time is anyones guess.............months, years ?? Who's to know.
But I need to get on with my life............The energy I spent in tears on Sunday just because her card hadn't arrived that she maybe wouldn't have known about anyway.............I felt washed out the rest of the day plus yesterday. Time is too precious and I really have to deal with this.
At least my mood today is more positive...............every intention of painting an old cupboard but had to re-think the colour now as it won't fit where I thought it was but I have re-hung a few pictures that were waiting for a 'home' and decanted some freebie bubble bath into Olive Oil bottles for 'freebie' pressie for someone so the morning's not wasted.
And I've got my smiling grandson looking at me............one of those photos that the eyes follow you wherever you go...................lol

I could kick myself now for e mailing my brother yesterday and telling him I felt on the verge of turning into a total 'nutcase' over everything - I just know he won't understand. Not an emotional type at all.
Still, I can't undo that so no sense getting in the rocking chair over it.

The sun is shining, birds are singing in the garden, the forsythia is about to bloom.......................today really is feeling a lot lot better:j
