Have had a lovely day.
We all went over to see DS and family. Then came back and took a ride over to Wolverton for a lovely walk with doogie. Returned via a lovely little tea rooms in time for an hours down time before starting on the dinner which is now scoffed and cleared away. Treat ourselves to using the DW on a Sunday 😄. DD must on her 6th load of washing or thereabouts. I don’t know where she gets it as she is only in the office 2 days and most of the rest of the time she is in her pj’s.Have used up some wilting mushrooms and made a pan of creamy soup for us as DD won’t touch it. Chilling on the sofa now trying to find a cheap holiday for the end of the month.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!7 -
Hope everyone has managed to get some R&R this weekend - I for one needed it! We had glorious weather yesterday for our day out on the railway with my goddaughter, her sister, mother, and the grandparents visiting from Italy. Today has been cloudier, but as I was at church this morning and slept for most of the afternoon, it didn't matter.
I shall have to do a bit of flying tomorrow, and I need to sort out my motor insurance which is due for renewal on 17th.
Hope the grandbaby arrives soon, pigpen!
