Bit later home than anticipated as left off late as talking to boss about difficult case. Then to Mr M to look for large flake egg, (that’s this years request and can’t find them other than on Ama2on and I don’t want to pay over the odds). 1/2 hour sit down with cuppa and catch up on socials. Curry made and scoffed. WUDUPA and sink shined!
Remade bed, DH had washed and dried everything outside and put a fresh sheet on so had a headstart on that.
Have folded 58 T-shirts Sheldon style, as they get left in a pile on the chest at the end of the bed after DH washes them. Need to have a fling as that’s too many for me to have, still at least I moved away from the 35 white T-shirts I had at one time 😊. Filled a bag of rubbish and one of recycling and think it’s time to hit the sack now.Terrible Tuesday ~ Master bedroom and Landing

Due yesterday! Wonderful to see you back and how on earth did DD get to be 24??They do grow up much too quickly.. apart from the ones who just get older without growing up at all.. *points at 31 y/o DS1 who thinks he is 15!!
Nails sorted.. and dinner cooked and I am now knitting baby hats.. I have 6 x 400g balls f aran to use up so another blanket to do and I will use the rest to do pixie bonnets.. they are super cute..off to my nest.. to sleep with both ears and one eye open waiting for DD1 to call me!
DD1 messaged earlier.. furious.. her OH has booked the car in for MOT even though it is not due until May.. for today.. the baby was due yesterday and if it fails which is expected they will have no car for when the baby does turn up!! He is an absolute moron!
OH had a fairly coherent conversation with MIL this evening and somehow she doesn't think there is anything wrong with the 4 girls (12, 11, 9, 6) sleeping in a room SIL's boyfriend will be walking through in the middle on the night.. I wouldn't trust him with my cat never mind my children! When he tried explaining we cannot stay there because there is nowhere for the girls to sleep!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -

you know that if you stick with it eventually each room will get done. or you can focus on one if you wish…
when i’m time poor i focus on kitchen and bathroom - as long as the other rooms are tidy they look good enough imoDon't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Valli, I know it all comes around eventually but if you don’t complete the lists some thing never seem to improve in this house, and of course I am still alone (mostly in the cleaning duties). Kitchen is ok, but dining room and utility need some attention.Worked from home today so made sure I WUDUPA breakfast stuff before I started. DD is also working from home (only does 2 days in office) and she likes to cook lunch and not clean after her as she has to get back to work. Still I guess that’s an improvement on the numerous food deliveries we used to have. Will start tea a bit earlier tonight (usually eat 730ish) and hopefully will have another hour for flying. Living rooms are not too bad but we are dog sitting DS dog who likes to empty every single toy out until he has destroyed the squeak in them all so will need a declutter of toys.I’ll start now shall I …….Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!7 -
Hi all
And breathe. Finished at the paid stuff until Tuesday, I am so ready for a break.
I have decided that this weekend I am going to have a big declutter of my wardrobe and just take it to all to the charity shop. I have so much stuff I dont wear and some things that I have tried to sell before without any success. No more guilt or anxiety about it - I just want it all gone and if someone else gets some benefit from it then that's good.
There is flying to do, but it can wait.6 -
Hurrah, YL, enjoy your long weekend. Looking at the calendar, I don’t have many full weeks in over the coming months, so now I’m getting stressed that I will be trying to do 5 days work in 3 days…sigh…
I’m not sure that I can keep counting just 1 x wm as serious flying. But there it is.
DH is out this evening. DD is driving him to the pub as she reckons she owes him 😇. I’ve made a case for picking him up, as I’m too worried about her driving the dark roads in her little car with all the potholes. They are beyond a joke now, so deep and it’s like driving a slalom. And don’t even start me on the idiot drivers who have appeared on the roads today.6 -
