Still running to keep up. Still grappling with cold/hay fever or whatever it is.
- did today's assessment; the first sister of twins so it will be really interesting to see how her sister gets on next week when I assess her. I've never assessed twins before!
- finished writing another assessment, just needs checking and sending off tomorrow - er, make that today.
- went to Mr A on the way home to get flowers to do the church for Easter. Also stopped off at garden centre, having decided that cut lilies are too expensive as I haven't received donations this year - but I managed to get a pot of beautiful burgundy lilies, 6 blooms for £9.99 so I can keep the bulbs to grow for next year too.
- bought anniversary card for DB and SIL who are visiting on Saturday.
- sent some e Easter cards.
- checked greenhouse seedlings.
- paid credit card.
- paid fee for professional conference in June.
- wrote and sent uni invoice for March.
Fairly glad I decided against the full moon swim this evening, but planning to swim tomorrow (today - can't cope with typing after midnight). Still undecided about ParkRun on Saturday, probably not a wise move really.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Good morning!
Dont have to be up early on a Bank holiday but I am as I slacked off big time last night and did next to nothing after dinner last night as DD wanted to ‘play hairdressers with me!’. Give our past relationship, as ridiculous as it sounds, it was important to spend some time together especially when doing something silly. DH picked up the baton and washed up, did half the drying up and put away then cropped the baton and left the rest to drain, I finished the job. He also picked up baby 5hark to hoover up the mess doggie brought in after digging for wildlife out the back.
So plans for today are to finish my brekkie and cuppa, crack on with the bathroom then see what else I can do from todays list (thank you Natty) or bits that haven’t been done in a while!
DS and family are likely to come in at some point to pick up Milo after their short break so quality time will be spent, probably setting up train sets for DGS, and fish and chip tea.
Hope you all have a good dayMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!6 -
Good morning all,
Sunshine and blue skies to start the day. 4 days away from the paid stuff, possibly 5 if I don’t relent and work my day off on Tuesday. Awake at work getting up time this morning, obviously.
I need a plan for the day, otherwise I will suddenly lose the time. I know that the one thing that I have been putting off (extra from the list, so it will be flying as well) is making a trip to the allotment, so I think that has to be in my plan. I’m already imagining reasons not to do it.
Iona, if you message ASB, send her our love, hopefully she will be back here soon.
Valli, hope you feel better today.
Hugs to all x6 -

Bathroom pretty much scrubbed, shelves wiped etc just need to do the floors, rinse the stuff sprayed on the shower and empty bins . Towels and cleaning cloths in the WM. Kettle on for 2nd cuppa and dogs hoofed outside. One poo pick done but will have to check again shortly!Sun is shining here too although must have been very wet during the night as the bird table is full of water.
DD and DH haven’t surfaced yet.Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!8 -

Morning all.
Hope you improve soon Valli.
Today, I have done dailies, hoovered through and walked Poppet. I've talked myself out of gardening as I'm headachy, back achy and it's that time of the month. There ar3 two wash loads on the line though.
I have eaten two hot cross buns.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.8 -
Morning (just)
keep forgetting to post daily but I am keeping up with the lists. Catch up morning has been had here, top 2 floors hoovered and dusted ( DH did ground floor yesterday afternoon) bathroom and en suite scrubbed, all bins emptied plus gathered up various bits from the rooms as I was going to go in them. Bag for charity filled and put in boot of car to drop off when I go out. WM x 3 done and on line, beautiful day so will all dry outside… yay!Extras list also checked and I’m all ok there. I have a form to check over for a family member which is a bit of a pig so that will be the afternoon job I think.
this evening we are heading out, feels good to have everything done, will just be laundry to bring in later.
have a good one all, make time to enjoy the sun if it’s shining where you are! X7 -
2 hours digging at the allotment. It really needs to dry out a bit, but needs must. I’m not going back this afternoon, as I don’t want to do too much too fast 😉. As if. Really it’s because I cba. I might have some time in the gh later, now that I have opened the door up to cool it down from 35 degrees.
DD is getting ready to go out. DH is faffing with the lawnmower, which I presume means that it isn’t working.
Can’t believe that I forgot to buy hot cross buns, especially as I refuse to eat them any other time of the year. I vaguely remember having some madcap idea about making them. I can be so stupid!7
