No flying yet!
Food shopping done as needed lamb for tomorrow. Mr A had 30% off a few so bought two and one is now in freezer for Ron. Walked doogie with OH and then went into town to get prescription. £9.65 for tablets that I really have no idea if they do any good or not. Also bought final bits for Easter for the big kids and DGS.
Have finished DD's dress alterations this afternoon, converting it into a skirt, far from perfect but she seems ok with it.
Finances sorted so now off to start dinner which will be what I can find in fridge with salad.
Any news yet Pigpen?Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!7 -
Hope you feel better soon Valli, if it's the cold I had it seems to drag on for ages. I decided not to do the ParkRun this morning and cough my way round it, disappointing but maybe wisest. I walked to church yesterday after doing a bit of church flying earlier and that wore me out.
The last couple of days have been continuing to play catchup and have included:
- report checked and emailed; another one started
- enough shopping done by both of us at different times to cover the next few days
- ditto flying. Mr N has tended to do more housework type flying while I've done 2 flower arrangements for the church, 1 for SIL and one to do this evening for neighbour who keeps giving us eggs from her hens and won't take payment. I've also made an Easter cake which is more than half gone as DB came to visit this morning, collected later by SIL so some of us have had 2 slices each... I made soup last night so DB, Mr N and I took soup and cheesey bread out for a picnic in the cowslip meadows a couple of miles away and sat by the river to eat it.
So Happy Easter everyone, I think the burgundy-coloured lilies work ok.
Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.8 -

Morning peeps
Last night cleaned up properly after tea and everything was cleared away and kitchen and dining room S/S’d.
Nothing done here yet this morning other than a cuppa, dog fed and let out for a wee. Gonna get up and shower in a bit then need to head over to see DGS and the big kids with their eggs.Sorry to hear you’re still not feeling great, didn’t realise you were undergoing such gruelling treatment. When you mentioned radio appts, I genuinely thought you were on the radio 😊 so big hugs and positive vibes to you xMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!8 -

Hi all
Thanks for sharing the flowers Narco they are lovely. We are off to parents for Sunday lunch, DS1 had to drop out at the last minute because he was called into work, but we have DS2 here which is lovely.
Not sure what the rest of the weekend will bring, DH is supposed to be fishing all day tomorrow, but the weather looks a bit iffy. DS2 is going to head home later as he has a Uni assignment to finish.
Have a good Easter Sunday all x8 -

No grandbeast yet.. I took DD1 on a trek around B&M and Ald! yesterday.. no joy..7 baskets of laundry folded and pairs about 20,000 pairs of socks.. I might not even be exaggerating it took HOURSbag of dead socks and bits of fluff and string binned. I have come down because I am hungry and because OH has taken Squeak to cinema to watch the DnD film so I have peace for a bit.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6
