I have a disability that makes phone calls very difficult, so this is a frustrating free entry for me.

Can someone tell me what happens when you call the 0330 number for an entry, please, and roughly how long a single telephone entry takes? Thanks ❤

Also, in the T&Cs, it states this:

    ONLINE
Entrants can also enter the Competition a maximum of 60 times (including free entries) via the Website.

Does this mean you can get 60 (paid) entries online, and that it include free entries made via the 0330 number, not that you can get 60 free online entries?
Took me the time it takes to confirm my number, then press 1. Redial is your friend. I rang 0330 880 4523 . 40 seconds might be other numbers, but that wasn't for me. Most phones have voice calling, maybe that could help you?

Could anyone please confirm that they have been able to enter free of charge by phone? Thank you
So far, I can enter using my PAYG O2 mobile, but trying to use the EE mobile with a bundle of free standard calls only gets silence, no ring tone when dialling and nothing once it seems to connect.
    Also:
"Unfortunately we can only take entries into a competition from a valid mobile number....." so my BT free standard rate calls on my landline don't get accepted. Rats!
That's weird, I'm entering from my EE pay monthly number and it works fine.
Is your EE number pay monthly or pay as you go?
And if you text/call someone, does their phone show your correct mobile number?
My EE phone (pay monthly, bundle of free calls and data) worked fine for similar competitions (Scottish Cash Register) in the past couple of weeks and the number repeated back was correct. However, for this one I get nothing. Might be location (in the wilds of Scotland) and the mast signal may be degraded. Will update if it changes.
    Hi pate-ci0
I'm on EE (ok sim only, but pay monthly, with all the regular free calls and data) and I've just tried the comp-line. I dialled the number, heard a click...........then nothing.
I've tried several times and got the same each time.
So I contacted EE, and they put me through to the technical department. The poor guy rang me, more times than I can count on one hand, after getting me to try all sorts of things, i.e. phone off etc.
He tried ringing them and got through with no problem. I tried another number and that one rang, the technician said it sounds like Bauer have barred me, but I've never rung them before, he said it's possible they've miskeyed the number they were supposed to have blocked and done mine instead. So I can't enter.........full stop.
Unless anyone knows an email address, I can send a message to them, asking them WHY they've barred me.........

    @CraSiEla
I haven't seen an email address for them, but might be worth trying them on Twitter or Facebook?
Are you able to enter the £50k one here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6431621 or are you blocked from that one too?

Ah alas my phone doesn't tell me how many calls I've made!
Has anyone reached the limit yet? Does it errrm tell you when you have reached the maximum?
Yes, I can (finally!) confirm that it does - well, not this comp specifically but the £50k one here: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6431621/e-01-05-5pm-50k-payday-bonus#latest
which is also run by Bauer Radio and also uses an 0330 number for free entries.
It told me I had reached the maximum entries.

So that's 120 entries for the £50k comp, I'm about to start the 150 entries for the £250k comp.....
    Hi Liz
Just to confirm you entered 0330 number,
I have just rung my mobile provider as I have a contract and they have confirmed I have free unlimited calls to 0330
    and you have entered these
First time I am going to enter via a phone call
    Thanks
Yes - I entered both this one (150 entries) and the 50k one (120 entries) using the 0330 numbers.
I'm on EE and these calls have definitely come out of my unlimited call allowance and my current bill balance is 0.00 (i.e. they're definitely free)
    Thank you Liz
Thanks to all who post comps :)

Aha, that sounds likely that Bauer have barred my EE number, though I do not know why. I generally use that if I need to phone a competition entry and previously was able to enter the £50k one but cannot do that either, now. So most likely I've been barred. I only use my O2 phone (PAYG and every call costs money) if I can't use the EE one (eg for short number/codes which my EE bundle does not support), and the O2 phone gets through to the £50k and £250k numbers no problem.
So I guess I will only be entering a few times on these, but hey, probably better odds than the Euro.....
