It might be worth submitting a formal complaint to them, you never know.
I complained to Omaze that their "free" written entry had to be handwritten and that their rules stated that they could discard any entries that they decided were illegible.
I said that it was discriminating against anyone who had trouble writing by hand and needed to use technology.
It took a few persistent emails but they did change it, and their rules now state that the postal entry can be written or typed
One tiny victory
While it may feel far fetched to others, I also mentioned how it feels like financial discrimination, too - especially with the UK in the middle of a cost of living crisis. The "free entry" routes suggest only those who can afford monthly mobile contracts with free calls can enter, and not free landline calls.

The cost of a non-contract call is probably less than the value of a second class stamp which is the "free" entry method often used on large prize competitions.
(online entry still required possession of a mobile phone, contract or not)3 -

Has anyone reached the limit yet? Does it errrm tell you when you have reached the maximum?
which is also run by Bauer Radio and also uses an 0330 number for free entries.
It told me I had reached the maximum entries.
So that's 120 entries for the £50k comp, I'm about to start the 150 entries for the £250k comp.....Best win ever: Trip to the Galapagos Islands in 20106 -

It would cost me 55p to enter via phone, yes I know it’s cheaper than text or online entry but if you are on pay as you go you won’t be entering the maximum number of times.
Hope they bring back free online entries or even a postal entry.Posting is a privilege, not a right. This is a privately-owned site. Posting is a privilege, not a right. While it doesn't matter to them if a free entry wins or not at the same time maximising paid entries and managing as few free entries as possible is the ideal scenario.3 -

So far, I can enter using my PAYG O2 mobile, but trying to use the EE mobile with a bundle of free standard calls only gets silence, no ring tone when dialling and nothing once it seems to connect.tinker15 said:Could anyone please confirm that they have been able to enter free of charge by phone? Thank you
Also:
"Unfortunately we can only take entries into a competition from a valid mobile number....." so my BT free standard rate calls on my landline don't get accepted. Rats!
I have not entered yet as I find everything very confusing but what do they mean ..." from a valid mobile number..." ?
