So like has been said, selecting customers for this incentive it seems. Still oddif you have to update to the latest version and I have the latest version.
If it's giving something back to the customer then all they are giving me is the incentive to just move on elsewhere.0 -
Just spoke to FD. This is apparently a pilot scheme, only started from last week. Individual I spoke to said that they were unclear on criteria on who is chosen to get email and unsure how long pilot to last.
Indicated that if enough 'appetite' for this incentive, it will be rolled out to all in the future... possibly.4 -
Trying their best to annoy customers I'd say.

That's me then, I didn't switch to FD back in the 90's I opened a FD account after a work mate recommended them, I then closed my Post Office account (Giro bank) and dealt with any other money matters myself, no CASS then 😁0 -
Both myself, husband and brother-in-law received the email and we all had the switching incentive years ago back in 2016.
We all opened joint accounts last year in April (had closed old sole's in 2020) to just get the regular saver. We didn't switch as knew we weren't eligible.
I would hope considering that 1st Direct have sent targeted emails, that they would honour the £75.0 -
I didn't get email but saw a flash screen for this offer when logging onto my account. I chatted with them and they say that despite of the flash screen, I am not eligible. Seems to be a mess.0

I'm hoping I get the email at some point!0 -
Got my £75 switching incentive paid in on Wednesday. I called first direct and the advisor said she would pay in the £75 there and then. Sure enough within 5 minutes it was in my account.0

Is anyone else still waiting for their incentive? My switch in happened on 18th April but nothing received yet. Am I just being impatient?!
