Ignore all the "it's fraud" which it isn't and all the other pathetic "it's wrong you won't go to heaven!".
As long as the other person isn't paying extra carry on.
If it was my streaming service and I made the same mistake I wouldn't care one iota, why would if I haven't paid extra.
The police can't do you for anything,  that's if they were prepared to waste there time investigating in the first place. Which they definitely wouldn't.

Exactly this. My eyes rolled so hard at some of the posts they nearly saw the inside of my head!
  • So long as you’re only watching and not buying anything then you’re not really doing anything wrong. Even if you tried to buy something you’d need to put in a password so that point is moot. Have a watch, see what toy think of Netflix and if they kick you out, buy your own. You’re buying a tv from a charity shop so that doesn’t say to me you have a lot of disposable income around anyway!

I am actually doing this! Bought an brand new tv through amazon in Nov 2020, was disappointed to find there was no remote in the box, a call to Amazon had a remote couriered to me the next day- still had twigged on that the tv had been used.

I don't have Netflix but it was logged in and is still logged in, Prime too- but I have this already. I now watch Netflix all the time.

Personally, I wouldn't use them, especially as you already know those accounts aren't in your name. You would be done for fraud if you get caught, and you'll have a criminal record!
I'm really not sure you would. Is it any different than picking up a newspaper someone might have dropped? They paid for that, you didn't - and similarly, reading the paper or continuing to use the subscription account on the TV incurs no extra charge.

    It's not fraud
