So maybe it has to do with not accepting the offer when given.. but as soolin mentioned, it's just a theory.

From what I remember, over the last twelve months, DH and I have both had periods of no offers. I don't think that there is a particular reason why some eBay members don't get offers. From what I've read here, some people list lots of things, others hardly any, some get 80% off, some get 70% off, some get offers, some don't. Perhaps it's to do with your date of birth or dislike if white bread? Who knows? The only certain thing is that you could waste a lot of time trying to work out why eBay don't always give everyone FVF offers.
Doing a bit of a search through various forums some people have seemingly triggered offers by phoning ebay and asking a CS rep if they can see any issues with their account that would preclude them from offers. It might just be a co incidence, but there are certainly people, not recently admittedly, who swear it worked for them.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. The FVF offers can mage a huge difference though - I only ever list when there is a FVF offer and I've saved a lot by using them!!
eBay should just reduce their fee's in the first instance, although we all know that's never gonna happen!1 -

Last year I did contact CS and asked how come I stopped getting the offers and they said it's purely random who gets the offer but that I should keep checking in case I will get it. The next time the offers were out I received the offer. Of course this can be just a coincidence but maybe I should give this a try again. There's nothing to lose anyway.

I very much doubt eBay does anything random, they will have a good reason for doing everything they do... for my part I hadn't sold anything for years when I got one of these offers and listed a load of items as part of a clearout. This proved to be quite profitable, but I din't relist anything until I received another offer. They keep coming every fortnight now, and I still don't list anything in between offers - make of this what you will... as long as the offers keep coming until I've shifted all my excess tat I'm not bothered!0

I've not missed an offer for a long time now(except Jan when we all missed them), feels like over a year....
actually, to be precise I've just checked up and it was April 2021 where there was a bit of a drought, I was getting offers on alternate weeks on my 2 accounts and sometimes none
and I've never listed an item outside of the offer period since 2020 when I first learned about them, and I always have just under 100 listings on each0 -
I used to get the £1 FVF every two weeks. When they changed to micro management (or whatever it's called), my offers changed to 80% off every two weeks.
I've not had one for 1.5 months now. I actually contacted eBay and they said the voucher goes out in batches and I am not in the selected batch but I will hopefully get one by the end of the year. What a load of garbage right? I was in the selected batch for months and months and now not in it. Hmmm.
As someone else said, I have not sold a thing since last November. I do list now and then but 0 views. I'm a private seller and don't have a boutique. Maybe that's why I am not being offered anything.0 -
On second thoughts, I had a buyer open up a case for Item Not As Described so maybe I got bummed into not being "superior standard" and no longer get the offers?0

I get the fortnight offers almost clockwork.I had a brief period about 8 months ago where I wasn’t invited twice on the bounce so a month of no offer. In that period I received my first neg and a neutral feedback. Despite responding to the neg and reporting the buyer for a false snad claim, I still obliged and refunded the buyer in line with my seller account expectation. That neg buyer must have been banned soon after as the neg disappeared a couple months after, my complaint didn’t get the neg removed or the buyer banned, but perhaps there were several reports on his account that led to such and normality resumed on my account.I called eBay and they wouldn’t corroborate the feedback to lack fvf offers but I’m certain myself it was the cause.Even tho despite those feedback my account was still above seller standard during that period. The only other time I’ve missed offers that others are getting is if I’ve put holiday mode for more than 7 days.I’ve noticed it takes a while on my return to get my listings viewable and I’ve maybe skipped one fvf offer.I’m a private seller With slow and steady sales being 2-10 per week.0
