Alcove Units – Best Solution?

Making a cut list. These are all 2440mm by 1220mm sheets. Naturally, the top two are 18mm sheets.
For the doors, the original plan was to use 18mm MDF, with 6mm rails and stiles. However, looking at it now, it makes sense (at least, economically), to do the doors as 12mm backs, with 12mm rails and 12mm stiles... as can get them all on to a 12mm sheet!
Have tried to accommodate the thickness of the blade (~2mm), so should be golden here, I think.

Did you use a program for this as it’s very good hardly any waste, the large offcut being 18mm will come in handy for the next project!Maybe, just once, someone will call me 'Sir' without adding, 'You're making a scene.'2

It's Adobe Illustrator (I'm a graphic designer). Not really for this purpose by any measure, but sure helps with superior accuracy!
Set my three "artboards" as 2440mm by 1220mm, then simply created a number of millimetre shapes (and popped some names on them)... and shuffled them around until I got what I believe to be the best (least waste)!
Though, I've heard some folk have success using apps like CutList Optimizer, and CutList Optimizer 2.2 -

Overhang will be a matter of taste.
PC can check out furniture stores in the 'hood and decide what's the preferred style. Important, I think, to check out units as close as possible to what they hope to achieve, certainly in terms of worktop thickness as this can have a bearing.
Or, even more Googling for images of alcove units, showing side-onish angles.
I suspect, but don't know, that a larger overhang will be acceptable on such units than on, say, a kitchen.
What thickness is your kitchen worktop, Casp?0
