I never play lottery or get involved in PB, prefer set in stone interest instead. Has anyone ever won anything in Chip's "prize saver"?masonic said:
The prize saver account is rubbish. You'd be better off in the savings account or Premium Bonds.baser999 said:Ok here (although still haven’t won anything by way of the savings account) 😏0 -
I've found it doesn't work on my WiFi...works fine if I use mobile network!!fonesaver said:
Same problem for several hours..still not working and no response to email yetLerennie said:Is anyone else having issues accessing the Chip app today (Tuesday 21st March) I am only getting a 'try again' button and pressing it doesn't do anything but show 'try again'. I have messaged them online, twitter and emailed three hours ago and no-one has answered. I am getting anxious that I can't access my money and am hoping it is a whole server issue but there is no update to advise on this.0 -

Have you tried it over someone else’s WiFi?0 -
It works over my WiFi
Sounds like an issue with your DNS or some sort of filtering done at the router/ISP level.0 -
Yes, but its rubbish and not worth doing as @masonic states. Chip changed the and made it a lot less attractive after they launched it.allegro120 said:

They sent an e-mail recently saying they are doubling the chances to win the prize. I didn't have to think twice to give this offer a miss.gt94sss2 said:

It's a punt where you don't lose your stake, with similar odds (of winning something) to PBs, but it's easier to get your money out.
Got to be worth a spare £100, no?0 -

Got to be worth a spare £100, no?Where are you getting the odds of winning something from please? All that is disclosed by Chip is that there is a total of 1302 prizes up for grabs. The prize rate, or total number of entries chasing those prizes is not known. However, when previously disclosed (in a misleading financial promotion they had to pull shortly thereafter), it was a lot lower than PB.The most recent disclosure of the odds of winning was that they were 4x the 24,000 to 1 of PB, but for 10x the price for each entry. So at 6000 to 1, the total entries chasing 1302 prizes would be 6000 * 1302 = 7.81m, equivalent to £78.1m in deposits. The total prize fund is £35k per month = £420k, so the prize rate would be 0.53%. If they have now doubled the odds of winning to 3000 to 1, then the prize rate would be 1.06%. So still only about a third of PB or their other savings account.
