Check back through your bank statements - make sure that any payments you've sent (how are you paying? Bank transfer?) have actually gone out as you thought they had. Then check the energy statements to see whether the payments you've made have actually been applied - in which case you have been underpaying. I suspect more likely though the payments you have made have been unable to be applied to the account for some reason, hence the debt. If this is the case then you will need to speak with them to get the payments applied correctly - they will be in a holding account at the moment, at a guess.

Of the estimate of your future cost of use is roughly correct, the debt accrued would suggest that there has been some form of issue with the payments for somewhere around a year, at a guess?

Those estimates of costs - particularly electricity -  do seem very high .   I wonder if there is a meter reading issue here. Can you dig out a bill from about 12 months ago which has ACTUAL readings on it - look for the letter A or C against the meter readings. Then read the meter TODAY and post that reading please.

Hello I pay my gas and electric each month with my readings submitted on receipt of bill as I do not have direct debit ?I keep getting phone call everyday asking for their estimated balance of nearly £3000 as I’m in debt ?yet I pay up on receipt of bill can any one help

If you are only paying for the energy used each month, Then where has the £2911 debt come from? Which is clearly stated on the bill. So I'm not surprised you are getting daily calls given the size of the debt.

How do you pay them, is that within the 7 days required? Are you sure the details on your payment is correct? Are the debits showing in your bank account?
Have you checked your EON online account to see if the payments are being credited?

@Jasone7160   Take great care with reading your meter - the old ones which had dials going in different directions were bad enough but the newer ones which require you to press buttons and have easy to miss decimal points are no better.

Photos of your gas and electric meters showing the screen you are taking the reading from will help us.

    @jasone7160

Unfortunately you cropped off your statement where it will show whether the calculation of the latest bill was based on an actual reading or on an estimated reading by Eon Next,

Screenshots from your online account showing Statement History (my example)

and Transaction History (again my example) might also help unravel your problems

Exactly this - has everyone else missed the lines on the bill showing the previous/current debt ? To help the OP we really need to know where these have come from ?

    Old property ?
    Mis-reading of meters ?
Rogue debt assigned to account ?

    • This is actual reading I sent by taking a photo then emailed it thanks

@jasone7160 your address is visible in that picture

You can just delete it (although I've also flagged it so a moderator might do it first), I'll post an anonymised version below:

The total electric usage looks fairly typical assuming you have Gas heating. I suspect the day/night usage is switched but it's all charged at the same rate so the end result is the same.

Wherever this alleged 3k debt came from, it was before this

So without quoting @jasone7160 to avoid sharing the pic/address again depending on tariffs/future EPG etc that c.£70 for 2 weeks usage isn't a million miles away from the annual estimate.

That still doesn't explain where the previous debt comes from - and without some insight from the OP about the history of the account no-one's going to be able to help

You need to take that one down, and blank out the address details etc. OK you are only being charged £70.72 for 14 days electricity. The question is how does the debt arise? Can you find a bill from a year ago? If you have been paying by bank transfer or credit/debit card, have you made sure that your account number was provided correctly, so that the payment was credited to your account?
