So unlikely to apply to Agile in three near future unless it also falls victim to a deal site bandwagon.
The reason that Agile went 'mass market' was because the capped price at the time (last year) was below the Ofgem Cap. People could switch to Agile and do nothing about load shifting in the knowledge that they would pay less than the Cap. That particular scenario no longer applies.

No. Not currently on Octopus, 2 year fix ends in November so will switch then. Have the usage data for the past 3 years and the Octopus pricing for my region so will marry them up at some point soon.Bizarrely Octopus API gives the price data in CET. I'm sure they have some reason for this, although I can't think of any reason whatever to present it in anything other than UTC...0

The Agile price data I'm retrieving from the API is in UTC - maybe we're accessing it differently? The timeslots in my data runs from 22:00 UTC to 21:59 UTC for the next day's data which is 00:00 CET to 23:59 CET, the reason for that being the index the Agile prices are derived from works in CET. But the data is definitely presented in UTC in my download. How are you getting the data?My frustration is the lack of consistency - when I download the consumption data for my meter it is presented in BST. Not a big issue as easy enough to convert.edit: corrected typo in above post & here is a sample of the data I'm getting:{
"value_exc_vat": 18.29,
"value_inc_vat": 19.2045,
"valid_from": "2023-09-09T21:30:00Z",
"valid_to": "2023-09-09T22:00:00Z",
"payment_method": null
},
{
"value_exc_vat": 22.34,
"value_inc_vat": 23.457,
"valid_from": "2023-09-09T21:00:00Z",
"valid_to": "2023-09-09T21:30:00Z",
"payment_method": null
},

There is an option directly on the Octopus web site to download your consumption and if I remember it right, that option give you a CSV file with the time as correct UK times.1

Peak pricing tomorrow likely to be a significant jump up for Agile customers if the Nordpool day ahead hourly pricing (used to calculate Tracker pricing) is anything to go by, so just a heads up.
Still a significant lack of wind power in the system.2 -
