Aye the hourly morning auction looks scary between 5 and 8 tomorrow, especially the 6 to 7 hour.

Not that these prices are used for Agile but it's not going to be much different in this afternoon's auction.

Wholesale is about 24p/kwh then? How is it that agile ends up at 63p???
Because there's more to the bill than wholesale price?
I get that, but charging 40p on top seems a little excessive.
The price is calculated in accordance with the published formula.
If you were happy with it when prices were low, you can't go disagreeing now they're high.

Maybe Bill Gates will use the smart meter network to activate the tracking devices we were injected with as part of the "fake" pandemic vaccine roll out and we'll all be forced to stay at home with the heating on to protect ourselves from flesh eating zombies, sending demand for gas through the roof?

Not sure, but there's plenty of good advice online - just search for "pandemic" or "smart meter"....

Got to take the rough with the smooth. I didn't expect Agile to be good for my use over the winter, nor tracker. Will see how the next week goes but Fridays 21KWh at 3.47 pence / KWh will smooth the next few days

I am, on the whole, adaptable. I know how to load shift to make the most of it but the 4 hours of peak pricing like tomorrow it becomes increasingly difficult

Thing is there's no other tariffs that meet my needs, I charge my EV infrequently so I often wait to make use of the cheaper overnight rates and washing/drying is either done when there's an abundance of solar or cheap pricing.

So Agile absolutely is for me I'm just having a grumble

I you are comparing Agile to Go, you should take a look at the "shifted" function in that app - you can tweak a few settings to get a good idea of what your price would be on another tariff where you would have different load shift times.

The scary looking 5-8pm peaks for tomorrow look to have subsided somewhat going off the morning auction, will still likely be near 40p though but nowhere near 60p.

Tomorrow's average is about the same as the SVT, so as long as you avoid the peaks you'll be paying less than capped customers. So, business as usual, then.
