Agile prices are certainly a roller coaster ride of thrills and excitement at the moment. Not sure if this is because we're having weird weather combined with geopolitical instability or if this is normal for this time of year. One way or another, as long as we have the abrupt lows in between the silly highs Agile still works well for me. My October average is 10.36p/kWh - saving me about £1.60 per day vs SVR at my current level of consumption. So no complaints from me ..... yet

My Agile import over the last 28 days has been an average of 5.93p/kWh. Can't complain with that  :D

I’ve just changed (got solar, batteries and a PHEV) how often do you get a bill ? Was used to seeing how much I’d spent daily on my other tariff

Monthly billing. 30+ pages itemising every half hour. Thankfully in pixels, rather than paper.

If you download the Octopus Watch app you'll get loads of useful info including averages over certain periods and a breakdown of usage in 30minute intervals if you want that level of detail. Saves waiting for a bill

Tomorrow's pricing really proves that anyone saying "there's so much spare electricity at night that E7 should be cheaper" is living in the past.

Is it possible to say that based on just one less windy day ?

A heads up that the early hourly auction pricing shows an absolute glut of minus pricing between midnight and 6am, and noon and 3pm tomorrow

Fill your boots tomorrow if that remains the same in the afternoon half hourly auction.

I follow them on Mastodon, but it's the same info as Twitter / X.
