santa being a scrooge this year, i hope theres plenty of turkey and mice pies left over for tomorrow looking at the price isnt a happy ending to the year
    Turkey & ham…ok but……….no thanks!
    Merry Christmas.😉
  • I'd trade off wind (lack of) against higher temperatures. In the end it is affordable comfort that should be the end goal. Whether that is courtesy of Nordpool & co is IMO secondary.

I was saved, today, by unexpected sunshine, which more than covered consumption, including the heat pump, for about 6 hours. Hoping for a repeat tomorrow.

Lucky you. Thick cloud here all day. We generated 0.6 kWh.

  • I switched from tracker to agile in February, but now I see which way the wind is blowing (or not blowing) I've switched to an Octopus fix. Saved approx £50 over tracker in those 10 months and more compared with SVR, obviously, but the savings are getting too small to justify staying on agile, given possible price rise when my year is up
  • That 32p would be the killer for me - although we can shift a fair bit to overnight, there is still background load and cooking during the day, and I don’t want to be paying quite so far over SVR for that. That deal looks like it could work well for someone on classic E7, though.
