I think that's the first time it's hit the cap, in the 18 months I've been on Agile. Luckily it is set for sunny interval, all day tomorrow, so perhaps my solar will save my bacon. (at least partially)

We have cloud in our forecast.  Will be filling the batteries overnight tonight and cooking on gas.

Actually, I was going by the graph. The table says the peak is a couple of pence shy of a quid.

Ouch, never seen a day like tomorrow before. The last few weeks have not been good, apart from the odd day or two, and I've actually been losing out by being on Agile for the first time.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
  • Thanks I'll approach energy-stats direct, if they can provide up-to-date data.
I confess that having played around a bit with energy-stats (North East) I am no further forward in my hopes to compare reasonably "live" readings for Agile and Tracker. Even if I overlook temporarily differences in tariff versions. If this is not what energy-stats is trying to do, is there a better web site that does?

Energy Stats has current and historic data for Agile and Tracker, for every region, all the way back to the dim and distant past. That includes the price being charged right now (what I'd call "live" data).
What exactly are you trying to do/find/compare?

  • Ah, spoke too soon, I've looked a bit further ..
Ideally a direct comparison of Agile and Tracker / North East / latest prices - as quoted frequently on this forum!

    OK, so go to:
    https://energy-stats.uk/octopus-agile-north-eastern-england/
Scroll to the bottom of the page and you'll find a chart labelled "All the Other Reindeer" "All the smart Tariffs". Ctrl-click on the legend to remove everything except Agile and Tracker.
    Does that scratch your itch?
