Unusual to be refuelling this late in the year. They normally do it in the summer, when demand is lower.0

I asked about this on another forum. Seems like it's not correct - a lot of those facilities have to refuel on a fixed schedule and it has to done at fixed intervals, so it could happen at any time of year, but is usually known in advance.Netexporter said:Unusual to be refuelling this late in the year. Unfortunately this year a lot of nuclear has been out of action for refuelling at the same time when there has been unusually low wind power generated. Also several interconnectors with other countries have had unscheduled outages and one big one is still not working until at least 16th December.
This is not helping with day ahead pricing which drives Agile and Tracker.2 -
