Was going to comment that the nuclear output looked unusually low.

    Anti nuclear protests
The link provided states that they're refuelling. Nothing to do with protests.

It's just a pity there's so little wind and solar generation at the moment.

I'm glad I did the laundry and batch cooking over the weekend though!

Unusual to be refuelling this late in the year. They normally do it in the summer, when demand is lower.

I asked about this on another forum.  Seems like it's not correct - a lot of those facilities have to refuel on a fixed schedule and it has to done at fixed intervals, so it could happen at any time of year, but is usually known in advance.

Unfortunately this year a lot of nuclear has been out of action for refuelling at the same time when there has been unusually low wind power generated.  Also several interconnectors with other countries have had unscheduled outages and one big one is still not working until at least 16th December.

This is not helping with day ahead pricing which drives Agile and Tracker.
  • ... not helping with ANY pricing whether day ahead or not?
Can we expect eventually a "correction" in some form or other?

Yup buckle up for tomorrow, early prices are out (I think Agile is based on the late one) and they dont look good.
  • I am on Tracker and get daily notifications for the North East. What is the best way to see the equivalents for Agile  in these exciting times?
