Potential negative afternoon Thursday and a cheap weekend for those that like to plan in advance.

Why can't I see that? Thursday nothing special, weekend little bit better but nowhere negative prices, maybe under 10p if we're lucky.

thank you. just had a very quick look, i need to cross reference this as its saying there is no missing data for last month.
Context of averaged tracker bill is most often missing half hour readings is due to Octopus not being able to pull data from meter, whilst Octopus have re-calculated bills for some customers upon request Tracker product guide says -

"We are unlikely to be able to recalculate your bill, even if we later receive your actual consumption data, as re-billing is just as likely to increase charges for a customer as reduce them, and time-consuming, when our priority is on minimising the cost of this tariff, and makes bills harder to comprehend and follow for customers"
Which is what Octopus did with my gas bill this month. Averaging 15kWh over the whole month works out a little cheaper for me. The difference is only pennies, so I wouldn't be too bothered if it had gone the other way.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

Is there any calculator that can tell you whether you would be better off on agile or tracker?

Octopus Compare app is designed for exactly that sort of thing, although the free version only shows the previous month.

I use the Octopus compare app for this. You do need to be an octopus customer to use it.

Seems like forecasting much more than a day ahead is as reliable as checking chicken's entrails!  Like the weather, we'll get what we will get.

Octopus Compare provides a good guess, even if it shows you're better off with Tracker it really depends on your usage - if you can shift heavier usage to some cheaper slots and/or decrease usage 16-19 then it definitely can be cheaper.

For the past few months that's what's it's been like 0-16 and 19-24 it's cheaper than Tracker, 16-19 more expensive - so if you use more electricity during the cheaper periods Agile would be cheaper.

My meter has stopped reporting usage to Octopus so I'm now unsure whether to just assume I'm on SVR now or not as per T&C's
