I've just had the offer or 20mth MT with a 3% fee or 21mth BT with 3.3% fee from Barclay card. I find it odd that (IMO) the money transfer is a better deal. The BT is of no interest as I can get much better with a new card, the MT I'd need a big limit increase to make it worthwhile.0

Does anyone know if they delay putting on the fee?
Shh, don't tell.
(Edit, one day later: the charge is on there now)0 -

BT 0% until 1/7/24 with a 3.7% fee and MT 0% until 1/4/24 with a 2.6% fee.
Still reasonably keen, given what is on offer for instant access accounts.
Wait, only 9 months for MT? Mine on Barclaycard is 15 months, but 3.8% fee (equals to 3.04% per year). Still worth it.

Halifax 6.9% for 24 months 0% fee both BT & MT
Nothing from Aqua or Amex
Does Amex ever offer BT or MT? I've never heard of it.
My Halifax same 6.9% (up from 5.9% in June) for 24 months, as well as 15 months 0% for 3.5% fee.

I've never seen them advertise MT for more than 12 months.
But why easy access? Why not put it in a fixed saver for 12 or 15 months for higher return?Martico said:They're still offering me a long timescale (to 1 Apr 2025) but 3.3% for BT and 3.0% for MT
Great offer as well. Are you going to take it? I think 21 months at 0% for MT at the moment is a no brainer. The fee is pretty low too. 3% for 21 months, that's just bellow 1.72% annually! Are you waiting till they pull the offer?EPICA - the best symphonic metal band in the world !0 -
Easy access because I'm lazy
and I do like the idea that it's accessible. The credit line brings my on-hand cash savings up to six months' living expenses, and I still end up on top. Plus they've had a decent track record of increasing their EA savings rate in recent months, so should go higher in H2 this year
Haven’t taken other offers yet as I'm still paying some 0%s down from a year ago and don't want to confuse matters too much, just seeing how I go for now0 -

Given my low-ish wage, I didn't expect it to go through... I could have tried 20k or more.On the same day, I also increased Lloyds limit from 6600 to 9k.
I expected their system to say "We can't increase it that much but we can offer you XX instead" but they gave me what I asked for. Again, I could have tried more.Over 16k already stoozed in savings from that Halifax card.My Experian "credit score" went down 127 points this month and it doesn't even reflect this 16k debt yet, hahah. Like you I have found getting limit increases straightforward but have only done so with longstanding cards, the Barclay card is quite new and I would want to triple or quadruple the limit if I was to make good money from it…
