I have a Zopa credit card (started at 14.9% but with BR changes has gone up a bit but don’t carry a balance so doesn’t really matter). I use Zopa for foreign purchases and purchases that are likely to be classed as ‘cash-like-transactions’ as no interest is charged on cash purchases (£3 cash withdrawal fee only), but I don’t ever withdraw cash.
If you believe you can, you will. If you believe you can't, you won't.

    Secured/Unsecured loans x 1
    Credit Cards x 8 (total limit £55,050)
Creation FS Retail Account x 1
    Creation Credit Sale 0% x 1 = £112.50pm x 20 mths
    0% Overdraft x 1 (£0 / £250)
    Mortgage Outstanding - £137,707.00 (Payment 13/360)
    Total Debt = £7,400 (0%APR) @ £100pm - Stoozing

*just to add to the above, they do not do BT/MT offers.

My offers mostly have changed, which are for most cards 9-18 months 0% with 3-4% fee.

    Exceptions.

Virgin money is typically 6-9 months shorter term.
Barclays have started offering me 0% deals again whilst the couple of years proceeding the rate rises they had stopped.
Tesco have stopped offering me deals.
MBNA in addition to 0% were offering me 4% for life, after the rate rises they pulled it.

In addition like many others my Barclays credit limit for significantly reduced a few years back, they have recently offered me a limit increase which I didnt respond to.

Slightly better than other providers offering 12 months MT for a 4% fee.

    Is Zopa a subprime lender?

I have their app on my phone, just for checking what they think of my "borrowing power" every month.
I think I've done their eligibility check once but wasn't eligible because I'm not their target customer.
However, I just checked today and there is an offer for Select credit card with a 5000 credit limit and 14.9% APR.
    That's definitely not subprime.

    .

I have Zopa CC as well, £3000 limit. APR started at about 17% but has crept up with base rate increases, but, again I never carry a balance on the card and mainly use for forex transactions on holiday and pay off in full. Useful to know they don't charge interest on cash withdrawal, just the £3 fee, handy if need cash abroad in an emergency, wasn't aware of that tbf. I can't fault them, been good with me. Had a Zopa card about 18 months ago with a £300 limit, and a high APR, wouldn't change it so I closed it, then was pre approved for the £3000 limit and low APR via clearscore about a month later.

    CC limits £26000

    Long term CC debt £0

Total low rate loan debt £3000

    Almost debt free feeling, priceless.

Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.

Typically I get a personalised 0% interest on Balance Transfer with very competitive BT fees from Barclaycard So with reasonable credit limit and current reasonably high interest rate, it is worthy to be used for stoozing

I've just had my new offers in from Barclaycard, and they have reduced timescales.

    BT 0% until 1/7/24 with a 3.7% fee and MT 0% until 1/4/24 with a 2.6% fee.

Still reasonably keen, given what is on offer for instant access accounts.

I just jumped on a Virgin Money offer of an 18 month @ 0% money transfer with a 2.5% fee. The gain is not great for a 5,000 transfer (around £130 with my 3.8% easy access savings) but I'm thinking my savings rate might continue to rise, so why not lock it in now.

They're still offering me a long timescale (to 1 Apr 2025) but 3.3% for BT and 3.0% for MT
