Energy Supplier Default Tariff rate cards for April 2023

Octopus are in the process of issuing their Price Change Summary emails to customers this morning.

There are very minor changes to the Tables posted above by TheElectricCow as the Price Change Summary shows prices to 3 decimal places not 2.

The payback time has extended, but that night rate still half the standard day rate - and your paying a c10p lower day rate penalty on any day usage over and above solar or battery invertor.

Most people in real need cannot afford the £1000s for battery invertor or solar pv battery invertor style installations to save now and in future.

And E7 rates have been distorted wildly by EPG discount levels.

Which have dropped to Oct levels again.  A 15p shift, 31.74 to 16.6 ex vat.

What was your night rate in Oct or last year ?
