A good old Spira for me!

Vimto always seems to be available in Tesco, though I typically only buy once or twice over the winter

Just noticed a recent post about difficulties tracking down evaporated milk. I must say we buy that a lot less nowadays, but which foods do you still love?

We’re going to go to the trouble today of making our own steak & kidney pudding. Not so easy to find ready-made ones nowadays. (The canteen in our local hospital used to do the most amazing ones but the canteen went and then so did the hospital).
My husband is still mourning the loss of the Sara Lee Pecan Danish from years ago. They stopped doing them and he's never got over it.
Whilst. I did like this product, I don't mourn its loss. A bit like Entlemann's cakes:

No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.

Anyone seen Force Flakes available? A striding man character on the packet-I look for it every time I’m in a supermarket!

This last place I saw them was Waitrose, but that was a few years ago now.

As I've mentioned before, pease pudding. You can get all manner of foreign foods in the supermarkets but good old, British pease pudding is very hard to find. Not impossible...just very scarce.
Doesn’t it come in a blue tin with swirly writing on it?

Please pudding was available in my nearest large Tesco, never used it but read recently its a good alternative for pastry for dieters.

    Hi

    Vimto
    Cheese and onion flan
    Thanks
Seriously? It's in every shop. It's labelled as cheese and onion Quiche though. Are you thinking of something different?
Its not the same. Yeears ago every couple of weeks we'd pop into M&S for their own brand flan - I miss it 100%

Our big Tesco sells Vimto and sometimes it’s in Lidl.
