Btw - just had a quick Google

Re some of the stuff, they have changed names

When went to india about 3 yrs ago in Feb - I noted the washing power OMO, and DAZ, bought back memories of mum washing and our kitchen  - but in the uk, its called Persil etc,

Then there was mothers pride just found out its Hovis.

So possibly some items have changed their name?

    Thnaks

    Hi

    Vimto
    Cheese and onion flan
    Thanks
Seriously? It's in every shop. It's labelled as cheese and onion Quiche though. Are you thinking of something different?

I'm mourning milky way crispy rolls. They're most definitely gone.

Other than that, I make pretty much everything myself (I knocked up six individual pies this morning - it's international pi day after all!) so I haven't noticed much.

Muller FRUIT yoghurts,  full of sugar & cereals etc have multiple choices but the fruit range has reduced to cherry and strawberry and lately rhubarb.  Cranberry only available in the 6 pack small pots and, if the cherry and strawberry are anything to go by, is not the same as the single pots.  Corners used to be available in a few varieties but are now only generally available in cherry and strawberry.

Pies the same: steak & ale, steak & mushroom, but rarely S+K.

The notable exception re S+K pies is Morrisons on their deli counter, but you have to get there early to get them. Their ones are super delicious and often still warm.
Or snake and widdly as us kids used to call it, I wonder why

Daz is a Procter & Gamble product and is still available in the UK.
Omo is Unilever's and is indeed Persil in the UK.

As far as I know, Mother's Pride (a sub-brand of the Hovis company) is now available only in Scotland.

Products do change names over time - I think Lilt is the most recent one commented upon.

As I've mentioned before, pease pudding. You can get all manner of foreign foods in the supermarkets but good old, British pease pudding is very hard to find. Not impossible...just very scarce.
