Octopus data not consistently available from SMART meter - is it just me?

As I found out recently, Octopus runs a constant data loss check. I got a bill for £0.55 for a missing day in March 2022: two days before BackBilling would have kicked in.0

Export from 14th has appeared but not 13th on Octopus site. No consumption from 13th and 14th. Did a quick try with n3rgy but just got empty Excel files. However, Bright does appear to have my consumption, which is a start. If I then go to http://www.smarttariffsmartcomparison.org I can get them into a csv file to satisfy the nerd in me. Now, still missing some old consumption numbers - I wonder if I can get those via Bright............maybe I need to add another MPAN?0

I have a consistent issue with obtaining my gas data. It has disappeared for the whole winter both last year and this. However, with some digging, this year, I came to the conclusion that it is to do with the front end of the Octopus software. I can still get consumption data (in kWhrs) from their old dashboard page (not downloadable!) and have been able to download m3 from n3rgy (without the calorific conversion). When I asked Octopus about it, they said it was to do with the DCC. As I have SMETS 1 meters (installed by Octopus), I pushed and asked if my meters had been moved over and they confirmed that neither my electricity nor gas had.
As they have no issues with manually pulling a meter reading, I chose not to pursue the issue and get my elec bills sorted instead.4.3kW PV, 3.6kW inverter. Octopus Agile import, gas Tracker. Zoe. Ripple x 3. Cheshire0 -
With our Smart meters we've rarely had any issue but this week yes today our details via the website show Monday & Tuesday completely missing for gas. 13th & 14th. Electric readings all there."So far this week... 15th Mar " etc. I've never seen this before.I check our IHD (which miraculously still works) daily and it shows our gas usage on those days.Any advice on how long it's worth waiting before trying to contact Octopus?0

The IHD gets its data via the Home Area Network. Octopus pulls data from your meter via the DCC Network and the Wide Area Network. The issue may be the Adapter software that Octopus uses to connect to the DCC network.0 -
Mine is now all caught up again. Tuesday's data got recovered sometime yesterday, then Thursday's data came through normally this morning, and finally Wednesday's data was recovered just now. Seems they have a pretty good system for recovering from these issues now.

Octopus changed my electricity and gas meters on Monday 13 March. (The previous ones weren't commissioned properly when the house was built 2 years ago, so didn't send data).
The technician explained that the DCC was having issues.
The Bright app is logging usage for me but Octopus app and website have yet to catch up.3 bed det. built 2021. 2 occupants at home all day. I have the opposite problem, data appears to be showing for every day on the Octopus website since 1st Feb, but still getting gaps in the Bright app. The data on both only shows up to the 14th. FWIW mine is a SMETS1 meter adopted onto DCC network last year, and data has always been intermittent, but seems to be better since I tried the trick of switching between half hourly/daily data .0

It does happen sadly, every now and then I get no data, but the message simply says it failed to get reading from the meter, but then next day it all catches up. So mine might be a meter problem, not the same as the OP.
