  • SO....I am now paying the parking fine tomorrow. You win some you loose some. But now PCM are trying to pursue me for two other parking tickets. I would like to make this very clear. The signage that is now on display is not the signage that was there when I received the parking tickets back in 2020. It is my understanding that PCM will try to say that the signage that is there now, has been the signage that was there all along. Would this not be contempt of court? Now I can prove this as I still have the images from when they were there back in 2020/2021 we we first went to court back in 2023. I believe this is a new low tactic for rogue parking companies. To issues fines and then years later change the signage to suit their agenda and then try to take people to court years later down the line and use the new signage a their basis to win at CC. I am livid to say the least, but I will reserve my energy for my day in CC.

  • As mentioned before, same location same car. Went to CC a year ago and won the case. How do I stop this from going to court? Who do I contact in relation to this matter? Thanks in advance.

You can't, except to reply to the next LBC talking about cause of action estoppel but ONLY mentioning the claim no that you won.

  • Have made a complaint to the HMCTS regarding the above. Has anyone been through this process before and if so what happened and were they successful? Does anyone have any info on what to expect?

In response to the now existing two tickets. I have complained to the landowner. Shall I hold off sending an email in response to the LBC?

If nothing comes of the complaint, I will highlight my reasons for not paying and shall mention if they continue with the claim that I will be using the cause of action estoppel?

In theory, they should have the details of the case that I won against them a few years back. I have no paperwork as it was an old computer that died on me unfortunately and had no backup!

Do you not have any emails about the case you won? You'd need to cite the Claim Number

On a side note, paperwork and photos etc. ( Data. ) Should be backed up onto external hard disc drives, usb memory sticks. ( Thumb drives. ) and possibly host sites on the internet, like Dropbox or Google drive for example , regularly

Plus the actual paperwork should be kept for several years , not binned, all important documents should be kept for say 7 years, or longer ir even forever with insurance policies, birth certificates etc

As for emails, the email provider will have copies of them, the computer is a means to access them, so they should be there online

My Hotmail and Gmail go back a decade or two

I doubt that everything is lost, there will be records somewhere, even a SAR to the DPO at the parking company and to the legal company should produce copies of the paperwork, possibly the court where the case was won too

Columbo would ferret around and dig out the evidence, so be like him, research, check, don't assume that the loss of a PC has lost everything ( it definitely hasn't here, so I do not believe that its all lost , I have decades of experience in I T and know it cannot be. )

I will try do some digging around.
