  • Also just to add the current court case that I lost the clerk didn't have us on the list of people to see. It wasn't until she did some digging that she found we had been added to the list last minute. So therefore the judge didn't even have time to properly read all the facts of the case. He skim read them and was not privy to the full facts. He just assured us that he is working on balance and that he "sees many of these cases"

No.  Appealing a court judgment from a PPC needs knowledge.  No high-street solicitor could do it.

You might have to pay it if CL don't reply to your polite follow up.

  • No sorry typo. Also, I am aware that the signs have been changed since our incident. I believe that PCM are up to tricks again, by changing the signage and claiming the signage there was in situ. when the tickets were issued, which is a complete lie. I have no solid proof of this until they send their evidence bundle, but it's strange they are now chasing me for tickets dated back to 2020, when the signs were changed in the last two years

The click is ticking on you paying the judgment or appealing it.  You have to act quickly or you'll get a CCJ.

Have you followed up with Contestor Legal?

Did you tell them what we think might be the error in law, as I posted? To appeal you need an error or oversight by the Judge and it may not be obvious unless you raise that with CL.

  • Yes I highlighted the issue you cited earlier. They have not got back to me as yet.

Also, if worse case scenario I have to pay, what if I cannot afford the full amount? It's nearly £400 and I don't have that kind of money upfront.
