Just an update... received my letter confirming that the case has been transferred to the appropriate Court. Any advice about preparation now?? Any documents I need to print off? Beavis vs?? Wifi access is limited atm so I will check back in a few days. I have necessary docs including old tenancy agreement, etc. I have yet to submit these documents, when do I need to do this??? I haven't checked the MCOL website for ages. Need to dig out the paperwork for it, as moving house recently paperwork side of things got shoved away.0

Have you written (or started to write) your Witness Statement and prepared your evidence bundle yet? Has your allocated court confirmed a hearing date?Johnson2015 said:Just an update... received my letter confirming that the case has been transferred to the appropriate Court. Once your case has been allocated to your local court, your MCOL history is just that - history. Nothing further will be updated in it.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

The MCOL website was just the CCBC 'admin gateway' at the start and is irrelevant by the way. It is never updated by your local court. Forget MCOL.

Have a look at the Witness Statement by @aphex007 - a good place to see a well written and laid out example. Use that as a framework around which to build your own. Half the job, or more, is done for you there.Johnson2015 said:

A heads-up - you will see that in the above mentioned WS example refers to the BPA CoP because they are BPA AoS members - your claimant is an IPC AoS member so you should be using/quoting the relevant version of the IPC CoP. (See the first Q&A list in the first post at the start of the NEWBIES thread for clarification re logos)
