The Manager rang me because of the survey I completed. The answer was still 'computer says no'.0

Did the shop contract the PPC? All you can do for now is wait for your initial appeal to be rejected and get your POPLA code. In the meantime, you should swot up on the Newbies thread and get a better idea of the process.1

Please can you give a location and name of the shop.
Is this a retail park where the parking company is acting for the retail park owners, or a standalone shop where the parking company is working for and representing the shop?
Answrrs to the above will affect how you complain, what advice is given, and how you proceed on getting rid of thisFrom the Plain Language Commission:

Thanks. It was at Hall Road, Norwich. There are a few big shops there. I was picking paint up from Homebase. The manager rang me after my poor review but said he didn't know who owned the land. He was supposed to phone back but didn't. The shops just seem to be refusing to help. I went straight back to the store and showed them my blue badge and they said there was nothing they could do. My daughter had the same problem in Cornwall. The shop wouldn't weigh in.

Edgerley Simpson Howe appear to be the property management/lease agents for the site. 020 7758 0400
This gleaned from a quick google search which threw this up: https://images1.loopnet.com/d2/d4Zlqw0YyufSGA36DpBiQRRzlTzuYMC8Y2R2ykrLrkA/document.pdf

I suggest you try the CEO of Homebase and see what they can do. In your complaint remind her/him that you are covered by the Equality Act 2010 as you have "protected characteristics".
The blue badge scheme does not apply on private land, and it is not the only indicator of a disability. UKPC and the landowner have committed indirect discrimination by not anticipating the needs of a disabled person with protected characteristics. Now hhey know that an occupant of the car is disabled and has protected characteristics as defined by the EA 2010, they will be committing direct discrimination of they proceed to pursue you.
The same complaint should be made to your MP.
Even if Homebase are not the landowner, they must lease the land and therefore know who the landowner is.

Thanks everyone. I feel a bit daft now as I Google everything. I vowed these parking sh**s wouldn't get me again but they have. It makes me so angry, I can't think straight. I will start fighting. So many people must be so grateful for your help. My daughter has a court case looming for a parking charge but I am expecting they won't go to court having got help from you all, fingers crossed.3

My daughter has just had this from Highview thanks to your help:
Our client has instructed us to discontinue Court proceedings and close our file. Therefore, please find enclosed the Claimant’s N279 Notice of Discontinuance for your records.
Thank you all so much.9
