She'll win when they file a claim, because in a few months time they'll discontinue it and it'll all be over as long as she follows our advice (see Umkomaas' thread all about DCBLegal discontinuances).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

DCB Legal have replied to the SAR. What should the next step be? If I find the landowner what should my wife be asking/requesting of them? New territory for us.0
-
You were supposed to SAR UKPC, not DCB Legal.2
-
They said that in their initial response. I was about to SAR UKPC when we received a second communication from DCB Legal. They said UKPC had forwarded them the info they were releasing to my wife.0
-
Having received the response to your SAR, albeit from the wrong entity, your next step is to read that response and note all the irregularities.2
-
All they said they had was her name, address, email address, registration of the vehicle, details of the PCN, date, address of alleged contravention and what it was issued for. Were they supposed to include anything else?0
-
No. That's all they (the solicitors) have. It wasn't them who you wanted the SAR from but personally I would NOT bother to get a SAR from UKPC.
You don't want to see their hand yet.
I'd wait for the court claim then you can genuinely use the 'woeful particulars' defence by @Johny86 like everyone else has done in all UKPC/DCBLegal claim threads once February. Hopefully you've read five or ten and have seen that pattern already.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
