Would I be able to get this as I had a switch offer from Lloyds recently and it appears Halifax is part of Lloyds?

If a typo like this was allowed to get published on the website of my local allotment society then there would be tutting.
This is the website of one of the UK's major financial institutions. I would hope that they take better care of my money than they do of their proof reading.

Could be a cunning ruse to avoid paying out any switch bonuses. That's how to stitch people up properly, Co-op.

And this. Cashback is different to a switching reward. I get cashback from them every month for my reward current accounts. You can also get cashback from using the debit card with certain retailers.
All very sloppy from Halifax. Not to mention that their app constantly crashes on me.3 -
If we choose the reward condition of £500 debit card spend, does using the debit card to pay into a Skipton BS savings account count?
The FAQ seems to say that use of debit card to transfer to other accounts will not be eligible for this reward condition but anyone know if this is enforced in practice?0 -

So I can use a Lloyds current account to switch to Halifax even if it is the same group?0

Yep. Even Bank of Scotland, which unlike Lloyds shares a banking license with Halifax, works.

My OH opened an account yesterday but accidentally put switch details down from an account switched the other week to Natwest. Obviously, this doesn't work and today the text arrived that the switch attempt was unsuccessful. What should we do now, call Halifax and give them the new switch details or can we do it online? We should still be entitled to the bonus as there is no requirement to initiate a switch at account opening I think?
On another note, we went for the 5er monthly bonus. Halifax, like Lloyds allows to open additional current accounts so if we (my switch is ongoing) open another 4 rewards accounts, will we be able to the reward o each of the accounts or is it only possible to have one rewards account incentive per customer, regardless of how many reward accounts we hold? Could bump bonus between the two of us to 600 a year that way.0
