Chainsawing is done.

Happy to ready the fly bus, oil, water, tyres, food, more food, drinks.

Blizz here on my own as well, OH has gone to big city in my car as his is still off the road, AA towed it to local garage, even their report said it was 'acting weird'  (some thing wrong with fuse box on car, lock it up and the wipers start, unlock it, make safe, ready to relock it and the horn starts and so on, in the end the battery was disconnected to stop it acting weird. When he gets back it is F1 qually and rugby.

I may pick some daffs and walk to the next village church and place on my mother's grave, either this afternoon or tomorrow while OH ois out volunteering. (one or the other)

I have fed cats, cleaned kitchen, fed some left over bread to the birds.

Otherwise a lot of nothing and wandering the internet.

Paid a chunk off the new fridge freezer.. It is interest free until November but I do not want to pay interest.

Shopping done and put away

girls collected from dance class. OH is just doing their lunch.

My hips hurt.. a lot.. I don't want the drug them but I may have no choice if I want to get done all the things I have on my list.

I need to finish the pink cardy because the wool arrived for the 2 blankets I want to get done.. So now I have a rush on.. I love the cardigan but it has a really horrid bit while the sleeves are knitted.

OH and Squeak are at opticians at 4..

Hi all

Volunteering done for a couple of hours first thing, Li@l shopping done, bought some nice but inexpensive flowers from the market and went to see both Mums with their Mothers Day cards while we were out and about.

Pasta eaten for tea, I was going to go for a run but somehow it was dark before I managed it.  Very little flying done, a pottering day tomorrow I think.

Good morning all,
Group flylady hugs to you all this morning 😘.
Yesterday afternoon, I excelled myself, by my standards anyway. I cleaned the ensuite, including the shower seal. Gross. I’m not sure if that earns me a flylady halo, or whether it shows how little attention I usually pay. I dread to think how many months (years, actually, if I am having a confessional) of soap and grot was on there. The trusty toothbrush and a cocktail stick (devotion to the flylady cause, indeed) sorted it out **shudder**. I spent a couple of hours in the garden, let loose with the secateurs and loppers, and the green bin has been jammed full. Plenty more to go. It was very pleasant - sun shining, and a robin singing to me. Freezer then sorted and a very loose meal plan written for the week.
DH made it home from his adventures late last night.  He is now on a mission to clutter up the house and create a washing mountain. I might pack his case again for him pretty soon…
Today’s plan includes washing my very muddy car, a job I hate.

OH gone to his volunteering place for 3 hours of training, he seems to be enjoying it.

Hello all.  

It's been a mixed morning here.  Had a lie in, leisurely breakfast and walked Poppet in the sunshine.  Opened Mother's Day gifts from DD and had a visit from DS and his family, so all good.
Then DH spoke to his mother and she doesn't like her Mother's Day gift. Ungrateful moo.

Flying wise, dailies are done.

Morning all

Nice start to the day here, it's beautifully sunny and spring like so I have been out for a little run and done some yoga stretching.  Bathroom tiles scrubbed, going to give the floor a good going over next.  Fayolle I cannot get the seal on our over the bath shower screen clean.  About once a year I make DH buy a new one as bleach, mould and mildew spray and no amount of scrubbing seems to get it looking presentable.

Big winter dressing gown is out on the line with the throw from the kitchen sofa and the bathmat is currently swishing.

Oh and I have a lovely big bunch of flowers from DSs GF.  DS1 has sent me a happy Mothers Day message and I have heard nothing from DS2.  They both know I think it's commercial clap trap, but I do appreciate the flowers.

Happy Mothering Sunday to All Flyladies!

I'm sorry I'm not contributing.  Layla's final illness was a couple of months during which time I was very focussed on her, and now that we have adopted a new dog - I'm very focussed on her.  We've had her for a week and she needs a huge amount of attention while she settles in. I'll be back as soon as I can.

On a flying note, I moved furniture about in the sitting room today to vacuum under various bits, and managed to fill the cordless Dy$0n thing twice.  I'm not sure when the sofas were last moved but quite some time ago judging by the state of the carpet.

Trying to get the back landing cleared today and filling the car with Meems stuff to drop at my sisters. *YEET*
