Hallooo, I’m still here, not been flylady tripping, just at work, then in a heap on the settee. Sum total of flying is zilch. Ooohhh, I have just put the wm on. Bingo!
I am hunkered down for the evening, debating what to make myself to eat. I have frozen all the bread to stop that particular temptation. I can still see the wine bottles though…and it is Friday. Or I might just sneak straight to the WAC and stuff down the bourbons.
I need a list for the weekend - definitely slipping back into those bad habits. My excuse is that DH isn’t home from his epic work trip until Sunday, so there is nobody here to work around.Wooty wooty woot woot, Valli!
Off to rifle through the kitchen cupboards for something for dinner. Love to all, promise to up my game for the weekend, and hopefully next week as well xx4 -
ohh clean sheets…love it.

Morning all. Hope you've all slept well, especially those in clean sheets. Thank you for the snacks, pigpen: I was in the WAC again, but managed to get back off to sleep before I had done anything other than drink a cuppa and then dreamt about crackers and cream cheese.
Woke again in a panic as I realised that Easter Day is just two weeks tomorrow [no it's not!!! - see my next post!] and therefore we shall be off this time next week [ditto!] to visit DS2&Co for a few days!!! This means that one of the jobs that has been lingering on my to-do list for a month (updating the online church diary with all the Easter services) must be done today. Ooops! This Action Heart malarkey is so energy consuming that I had almost completely [correction: completely] lost track of the date.
Had a pleasant hour at the GC cafe with some friends yesterday afternoon. Going out with DH this morning to the Daffodil Day at the church in the nearest village to the west of us. I need to walk Rosie at some point (preferably when it's not raining) and also hoover through upstairs to remove all the fluff she's shedding as the weather warms up a bit.

DS2 just texted me to apologise for forgetting to post his Mother's Day card. I replied "See you next week" and received another text from him saying "Did you mean in 2 weeks' time?" (I could hear the panic in his voice!!!!)
Surely I can remember that we're going to see them on 1st April? :rotfl:
Hope nobody else is as muddled as me xxx5 -

Morning all.
Up and I really need a shove to get at ‘em this morning. Up early (ish), back to bed with a cuppa (oh such bliss, this temporary home alone life!), new to me book started, which might just have to be continued at some point today. Finally up and dressed. Flying has commenced - I have brought the milk in 🤣.
Today I need to contemplate: cleaning the ensuite, vacuuming downstairs and our bedroom, making flicking the duster around in the same places, having a freezer rummage. All week I have been eating hg bags of veg that have been lurking in there, surely there must be some space by now. Meal plan for the next week, as the gannet returns to roost tonight.
Green bin needs to be filled, but the weather is, at best, uninspiring.
Slinky weigh-in this morning as I have restrained myself from checking midweek - 1kg down. Not as much as I was hoping, but I suppose it is down and not up.
2nd cuppa - join me anyone? xx5 -
Ooo a second brew. Hope I'm not too late to join you Fayolle xx
I'm up, made my bed, and supped one brew.
Another brew, breakfast, get dressed, and then finish cleaning Sweetie's cage and put it back together 🤞
Have a good day.
I'm taking the Flylady minibus out if winter storage - I think we need an excursion. Maybe down to see HB and wrap her in Flylady love. 🤔 ❤
Hugs

morning all
managed to get 3 lots through wm (DD has changed her bedding too). i have to wash my sheets one at a time , although they get accompanied by smaller items, as they are king sized, as i have a deep mattress and double sheets, which should be ok, look mean. .i like a good overhang, especially as i am an active sleeper.

Gearing up for a third cuppa, Round, if you have a spare few minutes 😉.
I think that the flylady bus sounds an excellent idea, too many overwhelmed flyladies atm, I fear. Maybe Kaz can turn her hand at getting it fit for the long trip, if her chain saw prowess is anything to go by.
I’ll be the flylady sticking her thumb out as you cruise on down to HB. Don’t miss me out!Dusting done as much as it is going to be. House plants cared for - correction, prevented from dying for maybe just one more day. Can’t say that my loving ministrations were successful on DD’s fern though. Whoops. Recycling to go out next. DH can pick up this job again when he gets home, as soon as he likes.
Kettle is on….7 -
Absolutely no chance that you will be missed out Fayolle ❤. If you're not invited I'm not going either!
I've fed the birds, put out the recycling, done a laundry shuffle, rinsed the outer base of Sweetie's cage base - which was thoroughly scrubbed yesterday- and scrubbed all the cage bars with an old toothbrush. Next job is to see if I can put it together again 🤔
But I'm having 5 minutes first. No third brew though. Very very rare that I manage 3. My midmorning slurp is always coffee. Ooo the Galloping Gourmet - he used to have a quick slurp when cooking. Cor! That was a long time ago 👵
