Glad your OH got through his procedure promptly, kaz.
My DH had a phonecall from the hospital team this morning. They have checked his notes again, checked the guidelines again, and decided that he *does* need to have the repeat investigation after all. It is booked for Easter Tuesday (11th) so he will be limited to bland food all that weekend and *no* Easter eggs or other chocs. He is not happy...
Gardener has been, cut the grass and trimmed back the ivy that was rampaging all over the fence.
I FUPA lots of washing. Then I took my car in for its major service and MOT, and am temporarily driving a courtesy car which is about twice the size of my own.
I went to Action Heart and recognised a new patient - my great-niece J! Her gran was my half-sister, 26 years older than me, and so there are just 3 weeks between me and J's mum (ie my niece). It was great to see J looking wellShe had a heart attack in December and was in the same hospital as me, at the same time, but she was sent home 3 days after her op, by which time I was only just beginning to get mobile again.
Rosie has come home from her walk with the dog walker, so I'm going to settle down with coffee and a book for half an hour, then try and finish off a few more jobs.

Iona, sorry to hear your OH has had problems with 'will they' or 'won't they' do the procedure.Been busy sorting out 2 draws this afternoon, some rubbish, some car boot, some CS, draws shut correctly nowThose who have break down cover, who is it with, is it via a bank account, for example, my renewal has come in from AA for £81.64, I dont have any breakdown cover with my bank, and not sure who or where I should be looking for a better deal.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

Frantically ticking off lists this week as it's a busy month.
- another report finished and emailed.
- lovely student assessed this afternoon
- went to gym
- Mr N did lots of flying while I was at work, bless him
- cc paid
- milk cancelled as we're away on Friday when it is next due.
- paperwork labelled for tomorrow's student, which is the one I queried as she wants assessing for things I can't do....however she was adamant. Not looking forward to it.
- made 2 flower arrangements up this evening, 1 for Mum and one for SIL who we're visiting on Saturday.
- ordered and received bird food, they are getting through lots at the moment.
- still rationalising garments into the new wardrobes (yes I know! Sloths rule).
Can't think what else, keeping up with endless bits of admin and generally tidying. I must say that since we got the new wardrobes so the room looks clear, I am more inclined to put even non-wardrobe items away immediately.
Glad some OH and flylady medical stuff is going ok. Mr N is cautiously optimistic about his new meds, he's had the first 2 injections and thinks that his RA is slightly improving, so hope it continues.Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.7 -
Morning xx
Odd start to the day. Telephone appointment with Occupational Health was at 8.15 am. Twirly! Made my bed and had a brew then took the call.
Eaten breakfast and having another brew while I wait for a call back to OK my OH report .... then I'll maybe get dressed 🤣

My left knee hurts and my right knee is very swollen today but that one doesn't hurt.. weird stuff going on.I have a squillion things to do and have done nothing..
Boog came through from the kitchen.. whined about a mess someone else has made and I asked if they had cleaned it up.. apparently it had been left for 'whoever made the mess' ... right so you've left it for me to deal with then? Thanks for that..
DW to put onMaggot bin to emptylaundry shuffle to get done and I have 4.5 baskets to fold/socks to pairbin in loo needs emptying but the bins are full until tuesday..I may list some more bits to sell.. I've sold a few things so I have room in another box.I still need to shuffle through school bits and sell what I can.. the rest and the 4 boxes of shoes can be donated.
I want to blast through the back room because it is a bear pit. I need vacuuming to be done but I'm not sure I can vacuum it is too hard on the knees at the best of times.Tried chasing referrals through the quack but there is no one there to speak to until 10am.. and I didn't even ask about an appointment it is 9:40 so pointless, they are all gone by 8:15 because the doctors don't do their job any more.. just at my surgery it appears.
ETA..
kitchen S&s'd and vacuumed.
Loo S&S'd.. it needs a mop in there.
Kettle died.. so I got out the spare.. which is also dead.. so I went foraging in the shed and found another one.. it is tiny but it works so all is good..
Fed birds and next doors fish
Back room vacuumed.. I need to empty the airers in there..
