Mopped floors, sorted and cleaned out fridge, clean washing machine drawer plus seals and put on a hot wash with soda crystals, sorted another kitchen cupboard and wiped little finger prints off the patio doors.Spend less now, work less later.8

Hi all
Paid stuff 8am to 3.30pm, then called at the Library and Li@l. Home to hoover bedroom, change sheets, hoover and mop bathroom floor, put recycling out, empty kitchen bin and wash it out, hoover LR and clean fire out, hoover and mop kitchen, utility and DS loo, throw some pasta sauce together then hang washing over the airer before sitting down.
I am beyond tired. Work is very tricky. I feel a bit like I am caught up on a treadmill. This will pass.
Early night wouldnt be a bad idea.9 -
Hair cut, spent a couple of hours chatting with my hairdresser about her business and life in general. Wm run, dw run and emptied, spent the afternoon doing admin. On the flying side, I have been even more sloth-like than usual.
An owl is going for it this evening in the garden - I had to turn the tv volume up!
Not looking forward to going back in to work tomorrow. Needless to say, I didn’t open the work laptop this afternoon.7 -

This morning started fairly well here. DH dealt with his second dose of yucky stuff. Meanwhile I managed to
- S&S kitchen
- check finances
- find my car's MOT certificate
- make my bed
- check that my meds order had been approved
- descale the little kettle that I keep in my bedroom for WAC (do borrow it if you need it!)
- empty the kitchen and bathroom bins
- turn all the hangers in my wardrobe round the wrong way, to see what I actually wear in the next 6 months
- take Rosie for an hour's walk in glorious sunshine but a biting cold wind
- file all the papers that have been covering the spare bed for weeks
- do WMx4.
When he finally got up, DH stripped his bed and then helped me put on the clean bedding
I then took DH to the horse piddle, left him to in the hands of the investigation team, and took myself off to the big shopping mall to get myself a coffee (success) and try to buy a new handbag (failure - well, I did see an absolutely beautiful one that I might have considered, except for the fact that it was priced at almost £200 and therefore waaaaaaaay beyond my budget). Then I got a phonecall from the horse piddle to go and collect DH, so back I went, only to find that he hadn't had the investigation because the guidelines have changed within the past year, so the procedure is now considered unnecessary in his case. So frustrating... but I came back down off the ceiling in time to watch the final 3 rounds of Only Connect on iPlayer.
Tomorrow is my car's service and MOT. I'm a bit worried about possible damage caused by all the potholes we have around town. Fingers crossed.

Good morning ladies,
Well done on your achievements yesterday. I am benefitting hugely from these lists and the motivation you give. Thank you.
Living Room day turned into a much bigger job than I anticipated. I thought my living room was reasonably clean and tidy until I dragged the sofas out and climbed onto the step stool. Yuck!I have been enjoying filling my house with fake plants. All the peace and calm of real plants without the added responsibility of having to care for them. But my goodness! Who knew they collected so much dust? I filled a bowl with some hot water, a squirt of washing up liquid, and a glug of floral disinfectant and started swishing them. The water looked like tea!
And the dog hair! I have the tiniest dog who hardly moults at all. But I swear there was enough dog hair under the sofas to make a pack of dogs.So in the end I didn’t even finish the deep clean of the living room before bedtime. However, I am going to try to finish it today after I finish all the bathroom jobs. Wish me luck.8 -

I have a baby cardy I want to break the back of today.. DD1 has 3 weeks left and I have 4 underway and 2 with no buttons.Everyone is doing a bag check this evening because the car smelled like a binbag on the way to school but on the way back it did not indicating something rotting in a bag.. probably apples or half a yoghurt.Twinkle walked into a metal pole n the way into school.. there wasn't a mark but the metallic 'ding' was rather hilarious.. Poor Twinkle..laundry to bring in and air, hang out chuck in the TD once they have been emptied, DW.. and knitting.. again.. not much getting done..
Pixie took most of the laundry through to the kitchen before school.. she was ready first.. I need to do some flinging in the middle room.. I want to get Meems stuff trotted to my sisters this weekend which will empty a whole wardrobe.. I want to then shelve the wardrobe.. Shelf? Shelve? .. shelve is right isn't it? It just looks wrong.. and feels wrong.. Add shelves to the wardrobe.. not sit it on a shelf.. anyway.. that..
I have a bed sheet to go back on the double in the girls room.. and Squeak is home today and tomorrow so she can pick up laundry in there and sort her school bag which is full of rubbish.. and put away some toys.. and have a shower..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6 -
I have done nothing off my 'list' but I have called the mortgage company to sort a product transfer which is complicated by needing to go through the legal team because CF is just that!
New hub thing came so that is connected to the network.
I will slurp this 'nother cuppa and look at laundry..
