I quite like it, although it reverts to blue once y'log on. Comparing the NatWest/RBS sites, it's reminiscent of when the Yorkshire and Clydesdale websites were basically identical sites with different branding. One wonders if they'll bring the Ulster range of accounts/website design in line as well.

It’s interesting how they choose to name the products in NI. More down to earth and less hot air.

If you've got an Ulster Bank account sitting around after bonus, perhaps waiting to switch it elsewhere, open an easy access savings account and turn on round-ups in the current account.

Gets you an entry into a £5K prize draw. Does seem (from the T&C) that this draw is exclusive to Ulster Bank account holders rather than just being part of the NatWest/RBS 10K draw(s?). Better odds I'd say.

I don't hold any Ulster products but also wasn't aware of the RBS 10k draw so thanks anyway! I hadn't ever thought to turn round-ups on as I prefer cash to chip and pin, but worth entering.

Yep, all the way through the site now even when logged on. 

EDIT - just downloaded the latest app version - that's purple too. Can also pay cheques in via app too, which I don't think was a feature before unless I'm mistaken.

Ah, turns out that I read it wrong when reviewing the new features. I think they've increased the deposit limit.

I’d imagine a refresh is happening. How long before these separate brands get absorbed fully into NatWest also?

I think the Royal Bank of Scotland brand is safe. NatWest recently closed all five of its branches in Scotland.
