Some pages are already updated, with the online banking, it doesn't really look "new", more like 2010 era. And i prefer the older pages.

    Old

    New

New looks rubbish in my opinion. They should invest their money in other things, e.g their complaints department....

Well to be fair, it's NatWest's money investing in the new website interface - RBS just pick a different colour palette and logo...

RBS Group PLC changed its name to NatWest Group PLC on 22 July 2020, to detoxify the company after Fred crashed it.

If you think "it's NatWest's money" then clearly the rebrand is working. In reality it is the same money and the same company as when it was calling itself RBS Group.

True, I meant more that I think the 'NatWest' branded side of the business went through this website upgrade first, so now the 'RBS' branded part is following suit - but obviously they've centralised the development costs.

Also I use NatWest as my main bank and RBS purely for the digital saver, so maybe I'm biased  :D

I thought that both NatWest and RBS had their partial refreshes several months back.

The first thing I thought on seeing the RBS message was whether (when) NatWest would also be refreshed.

I am actually expecting some radical changes to RBS. Perhaps they're doing RBS first to gauge the reaction before doing NatWest.

That said, I remember a NatWest refresh several years back having a massive public backlash on the now defunct NatWest forum. They completely ignored all of the complaints, obviously.

Eeww it's gone all purple

Not sure I like the new look of the site, is the aim for it to merge into Natwest and lose the RBS 'brand' ?

I quite like it, although it reverts to blue once y'log on. Comparing the NatWest/RBS sites, it's reminiscent of when the Yorkshire and Clydesdale websites were basically identical sites with different branding. One wonders if they'll bring the Ulster range of accounts/website design in line as well.

    It's already happened.

They're the same as each other, but different from NatWest.

Still a different product range though,.....have to say there'd be nothing to tempt me in the Ulster range, switching bonuses aside.
