GCTT is ZZPS. I said this on another thread only yesterday. Next you'll get the letter pretending to transfer the case to solicitors.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

It's just more GCTT/ZZPS BS, aimed at frightening you to open up your wallet and invite them to help themselves.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Bullit_2600 said:Received letter from GCTT this week stating my case has been transferred to GCTT Certified Enforcement Agents and being urged to pay £170 as UKPC fully intend to pursue this matter through the courts. Tellingly the last line reads "If we do not hear from you immediately, this matter will be subject to further recovery proceedings".
No clear action or mention of bailiffs or court action as per the previous 'threats' received from ZZPS.
As pre advice I am not responding and will update on here once I receive any further correspondence.
Thanks for all the advice and support so far.2 -

Received another threatening letter last week, this time from QDR Solicitors so seems they are ramping things up for the impending court case. Trying the scare tactics of a CCJ........

Nothing unexpected there. Come back when you get a real LoC/LBC.2

It has been over 1 month since my last letter (from QDR Solicitors). Anyone with experience of this process know if there are any timescales for court action etc as I am wondering if this means they have perhaps (1) given up, or (2) it takes time for a court case to be scheduled?0

That letter you showed us in May started with...
So one debt collector instructing another... fascinating.
You ask about timescales...
A month is nothing.
A Claimant has up to six years to start a court case.1 -
Anyone has six years to bring a civil claim.
Come back here in August though! Please take part in the final Government Public Consultation to push the statutory Code of Practice over the line.
Don't miss it... come back here when it is anticipated (end of July/August). You have ONE chance to help change the law.

Do that now, please.
We will tell everyone there when the Public Consultation opens.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As I understand it, you have not received a Letter before Claim/ Letter of Claim. THAT would have to come first , and you should come back to us if/when you get it, as said by @B789 on 15th May
In the meantime, you might get some more amusing letters from various desperate debt collectorsThe pen is mightier than the sword ..... and I have many pens.2
