Nearly eleven hours sleep had here which I obviously needed. So far today, I've had breakfast, walked Poppet and put a wash load on. Oh, and put recycling out.
No babies here today so I can do what I like. Think a decadent day time bath may be on my list.
kaz that sounds like bliss to me .... watching the birds and deer with cats on your knee (just to clarify 🤣. Moving gravel doesn't inspire the same! )
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, WULTD, fed the birds, put out the rubbish and recycling, done a laundry shuffle, and started to move across the contents of my ancient address book to my new one. Well, I say new. I've probably had it for 10 years or more but never got roundtuit. It's rather emotive which I didn't expect. And time consuming as the numbers in my old book aren't always correct because I've updated my phone and not the book. Never mind, I've started, so I'll finish.
Finished reading Far From The Madding Crowd this morning so it can join the James Herriot series in cs bag. Duncton Wood next methinks. I think I have three of that series.*
Hope you are all enjoying your Sundsy Rxx
ETA * turns out that I have 5 books in the series. All hefty tomes. It'll take a while but that'll be half a shelf empty when I've finished.
Feeling a bit out of sorts. Could that be something to do with the fact I am back at the paid stuff tomorrow after a few days off I wonder?
Kitchen cupboard tops wiped down and kitchen lights cleaned, worktops and tiles given a proper clean. 3 loads of washing done and out on the line. Clean washing put away. Helped DH have a declutter of his side of the wardrobe so 2 bags to go to cs including a sweatshirt that he lent to DS1 when he was very poorly in hospital and cant face wearing. Someone else will get some use out of it. I also managed a half hour paper sorting and filing session.
Short bike ride done, it is very blustery and cold. Pizza dough in breadmaker and HM pizza sauce simmering. Going to bring the washing in then try and get sat down for a bit, going to be a busy week.
Hope you're feeling better @pigpen. Take care of yourself.
So sorry to here about your chickens, @Deleted_User. So sad, not just the loss of "friends" but also the loss of potential income from eggs. I hope you are now free of the snow and don't get any more this winter.
Spent a long time sorting beds, weeding, watering and planting seeds.

Have a great day everyone.
Need to make a decision about today's meals but I also need to move my car so that the snow hiding in its shadow melts.
Thank you Honey Bear
