Part of me was wondering that because they hadn't received anything and it has been so long that maybe UKPC had dropped it, now I know you can check the status I will do so this weekend and will depending on the result, will get to work on the DQ.0 -
No, it's always dropped later. At WS stage.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Thanks
Who sent 'the letter'?
Tell us more about 'the letter'.
Does 'the letter' perhaps match that described in paragraph 7 of that checklist your friend was following when he filed a Defence?
DCB Legal sent a letter dated 17th April that the client wishes to proceed with the claim, offering a final chance to settle and that the court would send the DQ documents in due course.
It might be worth reading that checklist again - in particular, paragraph 8.
Also, this might help...
The CCBC sent your friend a letter, or will send your friend a letter, saying the Claimant has twenty eight days to consider your Defence.
What your friend doesn't know is when the CCBC sent a copy of your Defence to the Claimant. It follows from that that it is not known when the Claimant has to respond to the CCBC.
Further, we don't know what delays there are in the CCBC that means they don't send your friend a Directions Questionnaire as promptly as you might like.
And this recent thread indicates that longer delays are likely... CCBC are currently 26 days behind with DQs
Can I suggest that you keep checking the MCOL Claim History and as soon as it is seen that the CCBC has sent a DQ to your friend, you are ready to download a DQ, complete it and fire it back at the CCBC, remembering to send a copy to the Claimant of course?3 -
Hi everyone.
My friend has received a letter from the court saying the N180 wasn't received but they have proof that it was sent and that it was received by DCB Legal, unfortunately we don't have the auto reply from the justice.gov email, which I didn't realise wasn't received as my friend confirmed he had an auto-reply, but that was from DCB.
They're going to resent the N180 tomorrow with proof of the original email, that will be sufficient enough, won't it?0 -
That's fine if THIS TIME they get the auto reply.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hello everyone. My friend hasn't heard anything more since resending the email, how can they check on the status of this? Is it still via MCOL or do they need to ring the court with the claim number?
Thank you.
*EDIT*
I've just checked on the MCOL site for them and these are the latest updates:Your defence was rejected on 21/11/2023
Defence was struck out on 21/11/2023
Case Stayed on 21/11/2023 at 19:40:49
Is this normal?

Is it likely that it was rejected because they're saying it wasn't received?
This is the whole chain, definitely looks like they are saying the DQ wasn't received but the auto reply was received:
