Sunday was a nice day. I had a card from all three children. Plus flowers and eldest got me a book. And uni bit rang me. Very happy with that! Mother's days is not something I'm ever worried about. I just always make sure I do something for my mum as it wouldn't go down very well if I didn't 😂😂
So she came up and I cooked a roast dinner. Found it quite stressful to be honest and was glad when I finally had a little bit of time to myself. Sounds selfish, but I just needed an hour or so on my own!

And at bed time 10pm, the dog found a hedgehog, he went crazy and we weren't  sure if he had injured it as it wasn't moving. It did eat some food, but I didn't like it being at risk of being caught. So when it hasn't moved after 40 mins we put it in a box with a towel and a waterbottle. Who knew hedgehogs like hot water bottles!
Anyways had a terrible night's sleep, kept hearing scrabbling 🤣🤣
So decided on hearing him Di active and looking at him / her at 5.45 I would let them out and see how they moved. I placed him where we found him and after a bit of a wait he uncurled and tottled off, seemingly fine after his night of being held hostage🙄

Going to go to a meeting / social this morning, it's a new group I've found. It's a bit of a drive but full of woo woo people like me. 😍😍😍🤣

    wow what a lovely day.
Yesterday I made a lot of progress with my little project and got quite excited. Some of the bits I ordered will be arriving later. But will need the all the bits before I can really get cracking.

Did a bit of work and then I have been researching some more, Plus looking to book a little cottage in june trying to fit my DDs requirments, walkable to the beach, mountains to climb and a poole table ~ thats made its quite tricky!!! especaily as june is not that far away and alot of reasonably priced stuff has already been booked!!!! So I gave up and went and did a bit of gardening, so many baby sedge plants growing, all the big ones have already been dug out but million of babies have sprouted up and some not so baby!!!!
Then I decided I had earnt a bit of mango sorbet in the sun chair followed by a 30 minute mediataion, which would have been delightful if the doggo hadnt jumped on and off my lap about 10 times making me jump each time . Beautiful day here, feel like spring has really arrived

    Gratefuls
Sitting in the sun having some sorbet ~ so yum
Washing on the line thats actually dried!

    Tuesday already.
Oh had a good birthday, the sun was shining and we visited a new place and walked along a new bit of coast and beautiful sandy beach. It's really lovely having DS 2 home. And DS1 arrived late so we are all here. Doesn't happen very often now. Had a birthday meal of steak, salad and chips. And polished it off with a choc éclair!!
I am eating less meat now but I did enjoy that steak. I think I would much rather have a good piece of meat here and there and completely stop with all the processed stuff. That seems like a plan! Not that we have that much anyway, but I suspect it is more than I think!

Today is a work day, it was looking like a really busy week, but I've had lots moving around and change of apps, so it's a bit less. But still better than nought!
I need to bank last weeks money and take a good look at my accounts.
One very good but of news is that the big toad of a job that I had to do early on in the year has come back successfully and that will help.
OH has this week off and he is already in the garden taking the final bits out of an arch way that was falling down. We have bought a new one and it's looking like it is going to be put up this week. Which will be lovely. Once thats in we will need to get some lattice panels to fix to the sides and then I am going to plant lavender in front of it. Should be a lovely feature when it done!
