used clubcard point to buy disnet+ for 3 months. DD1 had been asking for a while and DH keeps putting it off. Friend yesterday said you can use clubcard point so whooppee. Now I just need to work out how to get the code to the channel to make it work! Will need to ensure i cancel in 3 months. Best set a date in the calendar!! ~DONE

    MONEY
Been making big decisions in the flower pot house and need to make plans. But savings willbe needed more than ever so best get in control of my frivalous spends!!!
Have decided that the 52 week envelope challenge money of £830 will not be used for a holiday, but will go in an account to be drip fed into my 6% savers ar £150 a month. Theres £3148 in there currently, so that will nearly take it to £4000 whoppeeeee! Not planning to go on holiday next year, but will use the money Im getting from the good will sale of my feet work to fund a weekend meditation retreat next year. Hopefully will manage to go on 2 of those but will have to put some aside for that.

Need to check in with my accounts and self assessment to see what tax I actually need to pay and try and get the sorted out and ticked off!
Credit cards are completetly cleared and 1 will now not be used any more, the APR was really high and most annoyingly it became very difficult to pay it back, the app wouldnt allow payments from my bank, so it was awkward. Anyway I have another CC now, with a much lower rate, but not planning to use it excpet for petrol and pay back immediatly

Thanks sya, someone mentoined it to me, didn't realise you could use tosco points that way. Watch Billy and molly last night about an otter in the shetlands!
Very sweet and so beautiful up there.

Very nasty and wet outside this morning.Hoping it dries up about before I head out to work. I have 5 home visits today and then another 5 on Thursday.

Yesterday was a good getting jobs ticked off day. I finalised the patient list for new person for the Monday clinic, it has taken ages, but it is all passed over now. I popped in and saw him at work and 1 of my lovely gentlemen. I thought I might feel a little sad. But Im good with it, so that's good!
Ds1 paid for lunch out he has been wanting to take me to a specific place, a chain that sells sushi and katsu curry.! It was delicious. And its that first time he has ever paid, now he is getting some UC money he wants to treat me. Very sweet.
Also picked up some bits and dropped off a boot full of Cs stuff.
Came home got the fire going and rested,!

so yesterday didnt quite go to plan. HAd to move 2 patients right at the last minute as DS1 had a gp app and I was on route to drop him off, I asked him to check where and it was at a completly different surgery , but part of their 'hub' and over 20 mins away. So took him and then DD rang me nearly in tears beacuse she was so cold. She had got wet waiting for the bus and just hadnt warmed up She also has raynaulds and alreay has chil blains, So i shot off in the other direction to pick her up. Bought them both home and went back out to to the last 2. CAme home and shoved jackets pots in the oven and rested!

Today, Ive been out for birthday lunch with a dear friend who i havent seen for a couple of years, she was in my group whilst we were studying the healing work we do. Now im just taking it easy! Hoping for a take out this evening as Im not cooking!!
Friend paid which was loevly, we have promised to meet up in Jan and so it will be my turn to pay then!

  • Hi FP just popping in and catching up on everyone, I am struggling with this 'normal adulting lark' of working lots and having time to do stuff for me in between housework, kids and shopping etc. and catching up with friends on here.  I remember why I chose being poor now and staying at home with the kids
I hope you are enjoying the days claimed back from clinic! And I hope you get that take away - much deserved I reckon
