It’s sounds like this has knocked the stuffing out of you a bit.
Remember, something like this is trauma to the body. Your mental state can rationalise it but your body can’t - I imagine it’s ‘state of mind’ being like a very young child, having been hurt and not knowing if it will happen again and being scared as well as trying to heal. Be kind to her and give her time.

    Sending, gentle, hugs x

Thank you KK, you are right my body has been through quite a lot over the last week. It has definitely been traumatic. And I am indeed being very gentle on myself. (trying to anyway, not something I find easy)

I was feeling a bit brighter earlier and so I opened up PA and snapped a couple studies (£7.75) but that was enough. I am going to have a bath after tea and look online for a new hairstyle !!!!
Not sure where to put my PA money, it had all been going to my pension, although I havent been doing much lately. But if Im not working I think I need it in my main account!

I think it’s about not feeling guilty or pressure to ‘get back to normal’ before you are actually ready.

For sure leave the PA monies in your main account for now. You can go back to topping up the pension again once you are back in a more normal living / earning rhythm. 😊

I don’t know much about your finances, but could Mr FP sub you a bit if you need it?

I could ask for a sub, but hate doing that and its gets forgot and then i feel like im nagging! As it is I need to reming him and the £350 sitting my my credit card that was for the tooth , whiich has now been extracted, what a waste of money!!!!! But it still feel it was worth trying to save it, obviously had no idea how it would turn out!! So I dont feel I can ask for more really

  • I've been putting my survey money into my main account as I've not been working and DP has been swapping jobs over. I've only just started putting mine back into savings so I'd put it in your main one if I were you.
I'd also ask Mr FP to sub ...you won't ever get if you don't ask. Worst case scenario he says no and you're not worse off.
I'd also be asking him to take the cash to PO for me. Or one of the kids. If you're not well then you're not well ❤️‍🩹
R&R is needed not trying to carry on regardless or else you'll make yourself more sick. Your body is trying to tell you to rest x

Thank you DFW, you are a gem, our text conversation this afternoon has cheered me up no end!
Have been very chilled today. Only did a couple of small jobs like putting my clothes away and doing the dishwasher.
My mum is coming up to visit tomorrow, she was on holiday while I was ill and wants to check I'm OK,!! so I will pop in 2jacket potatoes and get some prawns out of the freezer should be easy enough to make a prawn cocktail sauce with lemon, mayo and ketchup. Bit of avocado and that's it, a yummy lunch that's soft so I can eat it. I still can't open my mouth properly so having to be carful and I have a numb lip I keep biting!! Such Joy!
