Grey and raining here today. Have felt uncomfortable since seeing the practice nurse yesterday but at least that particular check is only once every 5 years.Tried to relax and read my book in the afternoon but decided to go for a walk while it was dry and not too cold. Hope you had a relaxing day dia.I tried the noodles last night but they are not for me. Rinsed several times and followed the instructions but even though I tried a very small amount in sauce it was like having a mouth full of elastic bands 🤢 So I just ate the rest of the Thai green chicken curry with broccoli. No side effects so far but I only tried 2 very small amounts on my fork & although they looked the part the texture put me off.Was in bed before 9 when my no-dogs friend from down south phoned so had a nice chat with her.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Think we will all avoid those noodles!
Hope the comments are taken on board and changes put in place. Most of the time water classes are attended by older people or those with health issues.

Thanks SQS and MF. I will look for a wholewheat alternative. Had a very relaxing day yesterday (sunday) Watched some tv and read my book. 😊Used up the chicken with veg, carrot and swede mash and gravy for lunch & with the last courgette and pepper with fajita spice, natural yoghurt and cheese for tea. Cupboards are almost bare and no home made microwave meals left. Tin of pilchards in tomato sauce for breakfast and tuna & boiled eggs for lunch. Parcel due between 10.28 and 14.28. Once parcel is delivered I am going food shopping.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

There's veg noodles / 'pasta' in supermarkets, might be worth a look, also things like couscous and other grains might be better eg green lentils as they don't break down like red do.
Add a few extra items to your shopping as almost bare cupboards isn't good.
Can't wait to hear what the planned meals are!Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -

Thanks thriftylynny and MF 😊 I will be looking at alternatives. I am just trying to keep under 130g carb a day per diabetes websites. No help from diabetes nurse, just told to take another tablet 🫤Lovely sunny morning and 17 degrees indoors. Has been 15 degrees all week so hopefully this is the start of warmer weather 🤞
Parcel arrived about 14.15 so went to tip with DF and called at aldee on the way home. Total spend exactly £40.00. Even the cashier commented on the round number 😆
Meals this week are beef mince & vegetable lasagne, reggae pork steaks with butternut squash, chicken casserole & tandoori chicken & roasted Mediterranean veg tray bake.Off to aquafit this morning then out to lunch / shopping with my friend.Another tip run on wed. Hopefully the final one this year 🤞0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗
