Sounds yum Tresinia 😋 I have it with southern style gravy from b n m. A healthier choice than my guilty pleasure k fc. 😆
Had a lovely carvery lunch out today at local pub. Called into the hairdresser on my way home and booked in for cut & blow dry. Then popped into DF for a cuppa. We are going to the garden centre in the morning & are having breakfast in the cafe. 😁
Christmas spends on credit card so far £101.75. Christmas pot is £179. I think I have bought everything now & just need to wrap. Very damp foggy morning. Went with DF to the garden centre & we had breakfast, bacon, sausage, egg, beans & tomatoes & slice of toast plus 2 hot drinks on midweek special £12. My turn to pay. We chose a wreath for DM to take to the garden of remembrance next week. 😢
DF has set up visiting family every day next week starting with lunch with my niece and baby on Monday. Am sitting with feet up for a few hours before walking to my friends house this afternoon.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Sya, breakfast out is such a treat😋😋I prefer breakfast out to any evening meal ( well except a really tasty curry) Thoughts are with you about your mum. It's always a bit emotional remembering a lost loved one, and I also do this every year for my own mum sadly gone in 2020, where do the years go. But life goes on and family and babies to visit and cuddle keep our spirits up through the drab winter days. Enjoy your visit to your friend this afternoon.1

Thanks Tresinia. I know what you mean about the circle of life goes on, but every now and then grief comes back and bites you. It’s coming up to 7 years now. Sorry to hear about your mum too x
Have received two hospital appointments for January. One will require sedation and DF is taking me. I have ordered some joggers £10 with free delivery to local asd@ so I will be comfy laid down for the procedure for reflux. Then a letter has arrived for routine breast screening the next day at a different hospital the other side of town. So I have changed that one to a week later!

glad they are looking after you SYA - you will have your MOT sorted 😉🥰
my DFiL is in a garden of remembrance and it’s a special part of holidays and celebrations that we go to remember him and give his plot a tidy up.It’s important to remember even if it bring grief as our loved ones live on in us. Take care you xxLancashire

Thanks Suze my thoughts at this time of year go to all who have lost loved ones.I am not looking forward to the reflux procedure so will be glad when that is done. There is no way they would get the camera down my throat with me awake.Went to aquafit this morning. Pool was cool but changing rooms were warm. The pool is closed for the last 2 weeks in January so they can fix the heating and then hopefully both will be warm.Popped to mr T and got last couple of presents. DF came round for a cuppa this afternoon. I’ve been lounging on the sofa since watching tv. Supposed to be sunny and blowy day tomorrow so I’m hoping to get washing done and dried on the line ready for going away.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I had the scope done recently - and had the light sedation with no qualms whatsoever - I even went out for breakfast straight afterwards at a ‘posh garden centre’ 🤣 - of the procedure itself I only recall coughing once when it went in and marvelling at the look of my ‘insides’ on the tele then coughed again once when it came back out but wasn’t bad at all x you will be fine xxLancashire

Thanks Suze. I’ve had it done before and had to be sedated. When I had my thyroid problems the specialist used to force a camera up my nose and down my throat with no numbing spray while the nurse held my head so I now have a complete phobia as well as a really bad gag reflex.Santa has just been down my road on his sleigh 🎅 so I must be on the nice list 😇😂0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I have had 3 done- the first with no sedation (never, ever again!) the second with light sedation (marginally better but not good enough). For the third I asked for ‘as much sedation as they could safely give me’. I think they gave me some anti anxiety medication too. The difference was amazing, I was totally unaware of what was going on.We are all different in our tolerance levels of course, and you also have the added experience of another traumatic procedure, but I just wanted to add my experience to maybe give you a bit of hope that it’s possible for it to be not as bad as you expect?2
